I also sproke with CC about unbilled usage increasing wrongly, they asked me to wait till bill get generated. Any idea guys what cud be the problem? In R connect they do not provide detail bill , so u donoo what surprise u might get .

I am using freedom @ night plan and my un billed usage is increasing daily by around 10 Rs., even though I dont use my mobile phone for outgoing calls and use r connect only @ night ( after 10 PM ) has any one facing same??

There should have been some unlimited plan also unlimited time and data usage ...for heavy usage but freedom @ is perfect plan for me now they should also introduce pre paid voucher for all these plans .. for prepaid customers

airtel broad band speed is superb ..only problem is coverage, in Bangalore they cover only posh areas

TRAI to phase out ADC by 2009 Wednesday, September 21, 2005 NEW DELHI: In a move that is expected to bring cheers to private operators, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India said it would phase out Access Deficit Charge (ADC) by 2009 and merge with the Universal Service Obligation (USO) fund. TRAI said the ADC has been withdrawn in most countries a few years after its introduction as it was inefficient and anti-competitive. ADC is a levy imposed on private telecom operators to fund state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited's (BSNL) 'non-lucrative' rural operations. "It is a depleting regime and would get merged with the USO and thereby any loss which is mainly in the rural areas will be borne by the fund," TRAI said adding the loss is less for urban lines and after one or two years, it would become zero. TRAI said the move was necessary, as private operators cannot wait for the BSNL to undertake a rebalancing exercise and to subsidize the PSU. "This would inhibit growth, competition and level playing field in the sector," TRAI said. By 2006-07, which is the first phase, the TRAI will replace the levying of the charges on all long distance and international calls by a revenue-share scheme. In the second revision in 2007-08 the TRAI will make ADC less than 4.1 percent of the revenues. The issue of ADC has for long been a critical factor in the smooth functioning of the telecom sector in the country and had split industry with the GSM operators backing the government and said ADC should be a policy issue while the CDMA operators has backed the telecom regulator and asked that ADC should be done away with and stop the government from interfering.

Even Air tel borad band is 999 Rs per month with 256 Kbps. Unlimited usage. Reliance should reduce r connect price to say 500 Rs unlimited as the speed is patahetic in r connect compare to broadband.

Maran said after correcting the telecom imbalance in Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Maharastra and Uttar Pradesh, his Ministry's next move was to do away with the STD system in the country as a whole. ''The day is not far off when STD system is dispensed in the country,'' Maran said, adding that efforts were also being made to rope in more customers and enhance the tele-density in the country to 10:5 by 2009. ''I want to make local call facility right from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and increase the tele-density to 10:2 in 2007 and 10:5 in another two years,'' he said. The Telecom Department could get the patronage of the customers only if the rates were made competitive, he added. Presently, there were 100 million telephone users in the country and the tele-density stood at 10:1, compared to 10:5 in China. ''My department has chalked out plans to enhance the customer base from the existing 100 million to 250 million in the next three years.''

BSNL cellone mobile GPRS based internet usage chagres are 349 Rs per month unlimited usage (Both data and time ) , why reliance is charging 4 times ( 1500 Rs ) for similiar kind service Any idea guys? How relaince is better that BSNL CellOne

This month, I started using R Connect freedom plan, when I got my bill, it showed my data usage as 1043 MB and , freedom plan was ACTIVE only for 4 days and after that they put me back to Zero Rental plan, so they charged me like this Free usage allowed for 4 days 133 MB ( as per freedom plan) Rest 910 MB at 5 Rs per MB = 4550 Rs Guys be careful if u r using Freedom R connect plan, u donno what u r bill might come with such calculations. Even yesterday ( when I got this bill ) I called up CC they say, I am in R connect Freedom plan. But the Bill shows I am in R connect zero rental plan now. Only for those 4 days I was in Freedom plan. Now they hv stopped my outgoing calls.

Hv filled a complaint 3 days back. No reaction as yet, except cutting my out going calls. Let see what happens. With my FWP aslo they billed for R connect WITHOUT my using it. But 2 months later they refunded it. One more thing I noticed is, in 1 GB in freedom plan include both upload and download. in BSNL dataone it is only download I believe. I wounder, if they hv billing problems why they always over charge. I have always been overcharge, but never undercharged. Has any one ever in this FORUM been under billed?

BSNL is providing GRPS based internet service on its mobile for just 349 Rs unlimited data transfer and unlimited time. Why is r connect cost 1500 Rs . Has anyone using BSNL GPRS service, how is the speed , connectivity?

even I had the similiar problem with LG RD 2030 , I think this cud also be beause of some virus , which continuously upload data from your PC without your knowledge. I used antivirus S/W and now my browsing speed is almost 10 times higher than upload speeed. Guys any ideas on this!
