I bought this phone from lsb with rcom coupon at Rs.7999 WTF !!! there is no adobe flash in it !! neither can i install it. Otherwise its a decent phone.... little buggy though Now searching for a flash solution... will rooting help ?

this site has a bug in the tax calculation system It calculates "advance tax penalty" for the amount paid as self assessment tax . Usually the self assessment tax is paid at the time of filing the returns by the salaried people. Since its paid in the month of June / July , the system considers it as late payment and calculates penalty. Otherwise its a great system . I used it , filed returns and got an acknowledgement receipt too

I have a Freescale IMX515 Tab running on android 2.2 65% of the battery is consumed by "cell standby" which is not required . When googled came across suggestions to remove "phone.apk" and "telephonyProvider.apk" to enhance the battery performance rooted the device with "zroot" and installed "root explorer" deleted / renamed / moved both "phone.apk" and "telephonyProvider.apk" from /system/app folder but alas !!! they re-appear no matter what i do with them. Any suggestions to get rid of these two files are welcome.

Thanks guys. I managed to rename the two files by upgrading my root explorer to 2.13 (earlier it was 2.10). now no more they reappear. Will it improve the battery ?............. Well thats a million dollar question. Will answer it after few days of observation.

Except that it has now android market access and 1.3 megapixel front camera. It does not have a bluetooth chipset onboard but I was able to connect to my bluetooth headset through an external dongle A value for money product
