  1. Hello, I am a regular user of various GSM and CDMA modems which provide a serial interface and use AT command set. I use these modems with my microcontrollers for machine to machine communication. Now I wish to use TATA Indicom Plug2Surf USB modem in place of standard serial port modem. For that I am building USB Host interface in my microcontroller. If anyone can help me about getting low level protocol between the modem and the Windows's driver or AT commands which is sent back and forth between a PC and the modem, I would be grateful. I believe this modem uses Sungil chipset. If someone knows about the protocol of Reliance modem then please share with me. I can buy Reliance USB modem and try it with my unit. Has anybody written a driver for such a modem for Linux? With a happy new year to all, -PWD
