Well, I purchased the above router (TP-Link Model:-MR3420) from ebay .. and its working fine (with EC1262) Reliance Netconnect EVDO 3G datacard Just remember these settings and it will save a lot of heartburn Dial Code: #777 APN: (leave it blank) 3G Username: 93XXXXXXXX << your datacard number 3G Password: 93XXXXXXXX << your datacard number ..and remember to enable DHCP

Just one important point for other Wifi Routers:- If the setting with 'internet' does'nt work then, Set the APN to 'blank' (dont type anything) for other wireless router brands Repeat .. For Reliance EVDO Netconnect Data Cards 3G, the APN needs to be set to 'blank' (not 'rcomnet', not 'rcomwap' & not 'internet') The above is the net result after 2 days of sar-phodi (head banging) ..LOL

The apps which come with the phone are quite good. Here are a list of Apps that I would recommend. APPS: Skype LIvelist/Gtasks MultiIcon Advanced Task Killer Brightness widget AudioManager Zedge barcode scanner Androzip Time Alarm Pro Talking Tom Cat GAMES: I am not even going to get started on Games. try 'Alchemy' though. There are sooooooooo many Apps on the Market. I guess its up to you and abt what you really want on your phone. Availability of Apps and Games is not the issue. The issue is to decide whether you are irritated enough to delete some app/game which is unnecessarily occupying some little space somewhere on your huge Memory card.

You can download a widget from the market for turning on/off the Mobile Connection. It takes only 1x1 space on the Home Screen. Very Very convenient. Also consider 'Multi-Icon widget' to quadruple ur Homescreen size.

I would strongly suggest you go thru the Tutorial once. I have only recently started using it, and am totally amazed by its speed and accuracy.

This is a v good idea. But I have only one concern:- You see, I have around 1200 contacts on my Outlook (only phone numbers, no email addresses) and about 1000 email contacts on my Gmail account. Now, to use Google Sync, I will have to merge the Gmail database with Outlook phone database. This will result in huge double entries as most of the contacts are common persons (One with email, another with mobile number.) Can you kindly suggest me a good solution, to go about this problem. Thanks.

I am facing major problems with HTC Sync with my new Incredible. It worked just once, and then its not working anymore. Tried different versions including 25 (which came with the phone) and with 33 (http://www.htc.com/us/support/droid-incredible-verizon/downloads/) It seems several ppl are having the same problem. The error message is "unable to find htc sync on your pc" I also tried disabling non-Microsoft Services in MSCONFIG and reinstalling HTC-Sync. Didnt work. Many people are having this error (http://androidforums.com/htc-desire/64808-htc-sync-cant-find-my-phone.html) Pls help someone. Will be very grateful. I am using Win XP-SP3

how much of data u are going to use anyways on a handset What you say is certainly appealing. Almost made up my mind to shell out quarter-lakh to buy this wonderful phone. Could someone pls pls pls tell us all, that on a scale of 1 to 10, what is the probability that our revered RIMWEB Gurus will be able to crack EVDO functionality of the Incredible. (I realise this may be a stupid question to even ask if the probability is less than 5; but in case the probability is > 5 then it is worth asking this question.)

Having Incredible without EVDO, is like having a Ferrari on Indian Roads.
