@natjay Your are confusing 3510 with 3600. 3600 has FM, whereas 3510 is just a face lifted 3500, which doesn't have FM.

In fact, reliance phones can be improved further. Remeber the ad 'Sauna belt' that gets heated and reduces whichever fatty part you put it on? Put your reliance phone on your fatty part (tummy, butt) whenever you are making a long call. You will reduce your weight as long as you talk, as the phone heats up a lot and thus works on the Sauna logic!

You have not used this phone for tata, so for which service provider are you using the phone?

Well actually, 3-4 years back I clearly remember there were few numbers that if you set your msg center number to those ones, you could send free smses. Many of my friends used that. But it is history now, and no longer possible. And you can always try Kamal's method anytime

Yes, I know. I am saying the place where Tata network is low, it will give less battery life. Also, as I am using Reliance on this handset and the network at my home is bit less, so I get less battery life. @Saurav: yes, the model number is Samsung SGH S259. Thanks for correcting me.

If only this damn dollar value was less.... Now dollar has crossed 50Rs, which is just too costly. I have held back purchases from US just because of this. If the dollar falls, there will certainly be an increase of demand here on this thread

There is no difference in the two. Both are SGH 256, with a different color casing. The problems faced may be due to network availability. I remember when I kept the phone in a stash of clothes, where Tata range is already low, after 30 minutes or so it was quite hot. Rest, 3 days battery life is good. I get usually 1.5/1.75 days.

That only gives setting like finishing of web addresses, .com, .net etc. Maybe useful in browsing, but it doesn't give anything to change the IP etc.

Try the above method. But if at all the connection is terminated, the probability of getting the same number is very small.
