Runing FM can be equated to using the phone for calls. The battery usage will be bit less for FM, but still, given it is being aired from speakers, and getting reception, i think there is no reason why this phone will not have a similar respectable talktime as well.

^^^ all got single ear headphone only. which was very relieving for me. i don't use the fm at all, n if it is used, then it is on the speaker phone. i don't want to have that garland in my neck all the time...... thank god it is single eared. though i can understand the need.

Man, this godfather theme is really great!!! can anyone tell the name of this version, or from what album it is? (don't tell me it is from godfather movie, i know it is. i am asking particularly about this saxophone version.)

Make sure you have a backup phone ready, and your number is transferred to it ASAP. If the phone goes kaput, u are in a soup, coz transferring your number from a dead/non working cell will be hessle.

I am looking for a branded DVD player that should be able to play all Divx & xvid files, wma, wmv etc, also should have Dolby surround, DTS, etc, should be able to play from a USB drive, support for 5.1 sound. I know this is too much, and i m currentily on the hunting mission. any inputs will be greately appriciated. also, few questions? is the a 3 cd/dvd changer in such slim players? and can we play movies from USB drive, or just mp3s?

The problem is, I want to exchange my 1.5 yr old samsung DVD Divx system for this player. I don't want to keep both the systems at home. that's why i wanted some seller from thane, who can exchange the samsung one with this LG one. the reason I am specifically asking for thane is, I have been told by the LG official shops in thane that they will not be keeping this stock, and I have to buy it from outside thane. n when i inquired at mulund, they are not ready to send a person to evaluate the exchange price. he is saying I have to take the system there even for evaluation of the price, which i don't want. that's why.

That'd be really helpful. AFAIR, LG didn't have any DVD player supporting USB.

^^^ just somewhere on this forum i read that the tata motofone f3c can't be used with reliance ruim. are u sure reliance ruim with work with f3c??? if yes, i have quite a few buyers waiting!

^^^ are u able to send the sms though? because i didn't try increasing the character limit, but i enabled the EMS, enhanced messenging, that enables to change font sizes and styles. but the messasge couldn't be sent. n why only 256 chars? why not more? is this the max number of characters allowed?

^^^ do try. i don't think it will cause trouble to ur gsm phone, as long as u take the back up first as described in the tutorial.

^^^ maybe. i think no problem should arise. pls check n revert back. BTW all these changes are safe. so u wont end up with a paperweight phone after ur experiment. and in current diego, u can always put ur original settings back, provided u have taken backup in the first place.

This can be set right through Diego. There is a setting for this alert, wherr u can decide how the call list to be showed, grouped or otherwise. I like the groupwise sorting of the list. u can always go in details to get more info on how many calls n of what durations were made. and it shows more history than the usual log. anyways, it depends completely on ur preference.

2865 doesn't have any Reliance/Tata Logoon the body! if you are talking about the startup/shutdown logo, i have disabled them through diego. makes things bit faster If someone wants, i think i can upload those animations from Reliance here. u can upload them to the phone, then it will be completely changed!
