^^^ ya, there seems to be this bug. if u can't open the software twice, then open some other app, and then again open the previous app. it will open fine!

may be just for the oomph factor. have u seen a chocolate phone in action? it just eats up all the phones by its sheer beauty.

wow yaar. reliance has finallly started to price the handsets well. it's really surprising that this handset is 4k less than 6265, when almost all features are comparable. way to go Reliance! But why is the view negative with the battery? AFAIK, BL-6c is the latest battery with largest talktime n standby time from Nokia. Is the battery life low because of the big screen?

ya, 50 lakhs seems just a slap on the wrist. should have been much higher. hope some similar lawsuit is fined against icici/hdfc calling to advertise the credit cards on landlines.

My 2865 seems hit in the head. it's handsfree is not working properly, means when i connect it, it shows some brick like icon rather than the usual headphone icon on screen. Also, i cant adjust voice once the headset is connected, shows 'volume adjustment not possible with this device' crap. the handsfree is working well on other nokias, also other handsfrees r working well on this handset. seems the phone has got problem with particularly this handsfree. will go to nokia ppl for a reformat of the system. also, i m not able to install many apps. ie many apps run fine the first time, but when i try to run them the second time, is shows invalid app, and option to delete it! once i reinstall it, it again works for one time only! is anyone else having this problem? for example, the free sun mobile dictionary, or the bluetooth remote control? can someone pls confirm whether these apps r working properly on 2865?

Seems older, as the Built in memory is just2mb, and screen is 65k. Not comparable to recently release phone in similar bracket N 2865, with 12MB onboard memory n 262k screen.

OFF Topic: Signal strength of Nokia is certainly greater than LG. I had LG6130 for 1.5 years. Now I have upgraded to N 2865. I am getting clear range even when previously the call on LG used to get disconnected.

U should try PCLinuxOS. I am currently using it. Really very good. I tried Ubuntu, but somehow, i was never at home on ubuntu. So again came back to PCLinux. Download either the minime copy, with basics, and then download the required software, or else, if u have net connection problem, then download the bigdaddy version for fully loaded OS.

Not possible. Go to mms site (posted somewhere on this forum), login using ur phone number. if u r not registered, u might have to register first. then attach any midi file. and yes, can u post ur photo album link? i have disabled the signatures, so pls post the link here. if u think the pictures are 'one of the best', i m really eager to see them. coz after 1.5 years with that cell, i can't give it ratings more than perhaps 'reasonable' at best.

I am having trouble with the hands free. My previous LG handsfree was very comfortable n sensitive. This nokia handsfree has to be literally held in front of mouth. even a slight deviation will cause the receiving party not listening the call. Think this is the problem with this particular one only. Am going for replacement today.

will this work on 2865?

I have joined the 2865 wagon. I bought it from Dadar for Rs.6350. Feels good. no idea about battery life. Liked the screen. Call quality is good. The speakerphone is really good, especially if u r listening to radio. Provided is a single ear pop-port handsfree, which is good for me, as I don't plan to use the handset as a radio! Transfers thru bluetooth went smooth. couldn't test IR yet. Is there any airplane mode is Nokia? This is my first nokia mobile, all the previous ones were moto n LG. PS: Mods, pls add the Nokia 2865 in user profile.

May I suggest something? There is only one 6225 available for prize. after members see the prize given away (hopefully to me!), even they might want to upgrade the cell on a pulse. (I, for one, certainly will.) How is the battery life? is the BL6 battery any improvement on older BL5 battery? How loud is the handsfree? Coz these two factors are most important for me.
