  1. Motokrzr K1m For Cdma Network

I read somewhere, that this phone is actually longer and more THICK than current Razr, for comfort in using. I am sure that greedy Reliance will never launch this handset, atleast in near future. It will buy it when it becomes remote, and then sell it at too high cost.
  2. All About Nokia 6265

Congrats everyone who has got or getting this beuty! Everthing good is being said about this handset, so let me tell the other side. I am not buying this handset, coz of following reasons: 1. Of course the price and the stingyness of Reliance of not giving Bluetooth/any good offer with the handset. As per the features. 2. I'd really like the SMS and pictures/movies folder to be password protected, or a password protected folder should be provided to keep SMS n stuff.. Once the mobile is stolen or given to repairs, then all ur personal data is open to others. (I am not talking about phone locking feature, it is too much hessle to remove the password everytime to make a call.) 3. Radio. I really can't understand the reason for having to use the corded headset just for FM. Even the smallest of mp3 players are having FM inbuilt. If Nokia can place the chip in the headset, why can't it do something to make it inside the phone. So if you are FM fan, then you have to carry mobile + bluetooth headset + the corded headset. The bluetooth can't be used for listening for FM, which is sad. You'll have to switch the headsets if u want to change from listen FM radio. 4. S40 interface. For such a price, I'd really like my phone to be a smartphone. Paying so much for S40 doesn't make sense to my geeky mind, who always likes to experiment with high priced gadgets! 5. Besides these points, I am relly pissed of, because here reliance has all the cards in their hands, and we are like beggers for them. The start of this thread and actual launch date is enough to speak about these. They don't give a damn for customer demand, no care for any problems, no support for freedom of changing the service providers, and whenever they launch such good handset, their greed is so much more than providing good quality offers to the customers. In fact, I am thinking to quit reliance just based on these points. I bet if u'd be buying GSM phone, u wouldn't have given a damn about 6265, especially at this price. And here, we are overjoyed over this irrationally priced handset, which is looking good just because the competiting handsets are ugly, and not because it is good in itself. People, while buying this or any CDMA handset, please think that would you pay so much for a GSM handset, and is the handset giving you features and freedom you'd expect from a buy of so much money.
  3. Handset Exchange for LG

Buddy, did u notice, that this is a 2 year old thread! What's the use of replying it now? Mods, you may consider locking up a thread after certain period of inactivity.
  4. @ theking Good suggestion! I was really fed up reading the 6265 thread, when it started showing desperateness. So I support you, pls don't start another speculation thread.
  5. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

Even I think that ~17000 is too much for a series 40 phone. If it would be either series 60, or with cool slim design, or with free bluetooth, or till 13000, it would be worth considering. I am letting this one pass.
  6. Motorola CDMA Razr V3c

Even if Reliance has missed the Razr, the SLVR & KRZR are coming on CDMA network soon. Let's hope we get those phones on Reliance.
  7. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

Tata is giving a free blue tooth headset with Motorazr V3c, along with great plans, on single buy or twin pack. http://www.tataindicom.com/personal/mobile...ts_motorazr.asp But we just can't hope such plans from Reliance, now can we?
  8. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

@sanjeev, I m not saying u r telling lies. But if this case is true, then it will be a very good deal to get 6265 + BT headset + Datacable +64MB card in 15500 Rs. In fact, if anyone in mumbai is selling this package, please contact me ASAP!
  9. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

As per Nokia India site: Sales Package Contents * Nokia 6265 phone * Nokia Battery BL-6C (1070 mAh) * Nokia Fashion Stereo Headset HS-3 * 64 MB miniSD * Nokia Compact Charger AC-3 * Nokia Charger Adapter CA-44 * User Guide * Quick Start Guide So, it doesn't mention the bluetooth headset OR the datacable. And I don't think that Reliance will be so Daanshoor to give out freebies on its own.
  10. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

Is this true??? Can someone please confirm this? If it is, I might jump on the wagon too!!! Please someone confirm.
  11. Lg Cdma Wins Top Company Award From Voice & Data

BTW, which of the 2230 to 2750(or whatever the current version) won the best skin of the year award?
  12. Now the media will show how he was born, when he first spoke, his father's life story, his future plans etc for next few weeks.
  13. 1 Yr Validity Full Tktime 20p/min To Walky/mobile

Can some Mumbai Tata user confirm this is true for Mumbai? If it is true, then I will mostly migrate.
  14. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

Not wishing to go against many in this thread , but launch on 15th Aug seems reasonable. And other thought of launching 6265 against Tata's Motorazr seems logical, but it makes me very sad, that I won't be using Motorazr :'(
  15. 1 Yr Validity Full Tktime 20p/min To Walky/mobile

wow yaar, it totally eats up 495 RCV. I know on 495, u get R2R at .15Rs n R2other at .80, still this RCV offers full talktime with 1 yr validity. I am really wishing that Tata should improve their network coverage......
  16. Nokia 6155

and for internet access, what are the charges? I am still not getting one thing, why settle for this if you are getting Bluetooth enabled 6255 at some 2000 Rs extra? Any particular reasons?
  17. Motorola CDMA Razr V3c

Guys, see this news: Motorola ties-up with Tata Tele It mentions that only 2 colors, gray n pink will be launched. There are few good offers: The Motorazr V3c handset has been launched by Tata Teleservices on an exclusive Max plan. This offer enables the subscriber to avail the benefit of zero rentals for a period of 999 days, get 10,000 free local minutes for calling Tata phones, 1,000 free local and national SMSs to any phones, a free Motorola Bluetooth headset worth Rs.2300, as well as free access to office and personal e-mails through the just launched mobile mail service for 3 months. This exclusive package comes at Rs.14,500. Additionally, Tata Indicom will also offer an 'Awesome Twosome' offer where anyone buying a Grey and Pink handset pair will be eligible to get lifetime free calls & SMSs between the two phones. This will be available at a special price of Rs.25,000 only with 2 matching Motorola Bluetooth headsets free and the Max plan. But sad part is, it mentions only Tata, n not Reliance. Seems our trusty reliance ppl have f*@ked up again
  18. All New Samsung Hero Launched On Indicom

See how it imitates the slider phones?! the above part is black, to look like a slider. and below buttons are colored ignorable gray, to highlight black. cool concept.
  19. All New Samsung Hero Launched On Indicom

The anti theft feature is cool, but the other SOS feature needs a lot of imagination to think of any use. I don't see any hope of seeing this in Reliance. Reliance is too busy bringing out different skins of LG 2330/2650 chip.
  20. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

@rahujas: Relax buddy. The good news is finally this handset is out, it is just a matter of time that it will be available in general market. A caution will be don't be in hurry to get it n spend extra than the market price. Let the price stabilize first. I don't think that Nokia exiting the CDMA market will be of much concern atleast for 1-2 years. Later, there may be troubles for finding spares.
  21. Please Suggest A Folder Mobile Phone

Why not get 6255 for few extra bucks? I think u can install all the softs on 6255 that can be installed on 6155, n u get option of blutoooth as well. BTW, is there any remote control application for S40, as there is for S60?
  22. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

Only difference between 6265 and 6265i is GPS module.
  23. Please Suggest A Folder Mobile Phone

Anyways, the main question is of suggesting him a handset. We are deviating from topic a bit. If you want battery life while sacrificing the looks, go for Nokia flap phones. As far as I am concerned, LG6000 is the most beautiful phone in RIM. But it is now replaced by a cheaper LG6500. And I am not entirely sure that the Gtran can still be bought. Anyways, buy that phone whose service center is nearby your home, and after-sales service is good.
  24. Motorola CDMA Razr V3c

Mostly he is saying coz of Tata ad in newspaper. RIM, as usual, don't care about advertisement. Or maybe, it can be a real case also. Time will tell.
  25. I was near Kopar Khairne, ie near DAKC at 7-7:30, but no outgoing calls were going through. But incoming calls were coming. Only SMS could be sent.
