What help do you require? You can use the bebopper mp3 player posted by Iceman. Quality atleast sounds better than the included one. Make sure you keep the bitrate of mp3s <=128kbps, as anything above that will sound jerky due to less speed of processor. Just write the mp3s to phone using the software on phone, or using the card reader, put the files in /Audio/ folder on the memory card. If you are asking about playing movies, even I m waiting for some answer from champs. One more thing. There is a tool, using which we can convert the memory card to a flash drive! I have installed cardexport that does this job. So, is there any other way of connecting the handset to pc,except the cradle? The cradle is too huge to carry around. The other solution is to buy a memory card reader, but plugging the phone directly to pc will be much beter. Hey thanks man, you are really IN this phone, arent ya?!!! One more cool use of this phone. You can use this phone as a remote control for controlling TV/music system etc! Haven't tried any software myself, but I sure will in coming days. Any good image browser? I can't get the AcidImage to work. And what's bad in using the given photo viewer? Anyone used some new interface like silver/zlauncher etc, or continuing the old one? Really a cool Phone. Only problem is the battery. Have to carry charger with me, if I want to use the phone heavily.

No it doesn't. U have to use the mms portal/receive mms from other rim ppl/download from RWorld or 8888. No other way possible.

Is there any Alarm software, that will 'vibrate' the cell when it is time? I tried one, but it didn't vibrate the cell, amd I was late to office this morning. Also, there is one program Documents To Go, better than quickoffice. Their latest version 8 DOES NOT work on 7135. Search for version 6. Any guide on how to play movies?

You can do either. You can either create an email which you can receive from your present yahoo emaill, ie mails sent to present as well as the '.' one id will be received in same mailbox. You can even send mail from the '.' id, when you are logged in by your present id. Alternatively, you can create another id, so that you will be able handle 2 independent mail ids. For me, the first method worked perfectly. I always wanted a . in yahoo address so that it will go with my other ids. now i have it. Thanks to Vishal for pointing this out.

Even I was worried about my 7135's earpiece's volume. As you sai, even I was using it with the speakerphone on, at the cost of privacy. But there is a simple answer to it. Do you see the protective plastic cover on the screen? It extends to the earpiece as well. And as it is quite thick, it blocks the voice. Solution: Make holes on that cover on the earpiece, and voila! there you are. This worked perfectly for me.

I am getting the handset at Rs.13500. But it is without warranty/bill? The main board of 7135 costs about Rs13,000! So, all the users who have bought this handset under this scheme, can you tell me how is the handset/the manufacturing date/how much do you think the risk is, and is it worth it?

It is USB to USB. I need some cable that will have one end as USB in and other end as memory card in, so that I can directly connect the USB HDD as a memory card, not transfer TO the memory card.

The reviews are of two extremes. One says it is too cool, when the others say it is a total loss of money. Can anyone write a full review on it?

I don't want a USB card reader. I want a connector that will connect the external HDD to the digicam/mp3 player as a memory card, ie that cable should be like our USB to serial convertor etc. Using that cable, I should be able to plugin the HDD into the memory slot.

For a past few weeks, i m searching for a good mp3 player, which can double as USB disks. But then, I found out, that external HDDs are much cheaper alternative to the USB thumbdrive. You can get a 40GB HDD in the price of 1GB thumbdrive. There are even some external HDDs with On The Go Backup, meaning when you are on tour, you can backup the data from your digital camera/mp3 player etc to this hdd without pc! Now that's a very good thing for me. I wanted to ask, does there exist any convertor, or connector, that connects the usb port to the memory card port. as the HDDs have a USB port, if there exist some USB to Memory card convertor, then we can use the removable memory based mp3 players, which will be very cheap compared to the ones in the market. Just an idea. Does it /can it exist?

The MMS by mail doesn't work anymore. You can use the portal for sending mms. 3rs per mms per recepient.

How? If you open the MMS, and then select 'save image' or 'save tone', it gives some error. Also, if you see in the tones gallery, there are only 3 blank spaces, named RWorld Ringtone. There is no other slot for saving tone by MMS, like in 6130. Ditto for images. So I think it is impossible. If you have saved the images/tones, do tell how.

LG 5130 CAN NOT save picture/ringtone other than from R World ie made available from Reliance itself. So no use of changing MB etc. LG guys are just ignorant.

I have a 128 MB Ram. I'll be adding a 512MB RAM to it. WHat should I watch out for, like speed, make of RAM etc so that both the RAMs will be compatible?

i have tried sending mms using mms portal to 5130, but failed. Then I sent an mms from 6130 to 5130, containing a tone and image. The mms could be viewed perfectly, but the tone or the wallpaper couldn't be saved. So, there is NO WAY to get wallpapers/ringtones on 5130 other than those on R-World.

Where? I don't see anywhere written over there that remotely suggests, that Reliance has started accepting Non reliance handsets. It only says Tata can accept RIM handsets, and not vice versa.

In one other forum, there was a setting in profile, which allowed to switch off the sigs and avatars completely. so the rendering of the page was much faster. Can you provide such option? It will be of much help to dial up/slow connection ppl.

The answer of first one is, draw one verticle line to the top left of + sign, so it becomes 4, like it is _|_ , draw a line to make it |_|_ , ie 4. (pls ignore the 'i's in next line. It's not taking spaces. i i i i i | i i i i i i i i i i i i i i i i i i i i i i i i | As for the second one, I guess the 'adjusting' is making the 2 as 4. ie 102 - 4 = 98. But I am not sure about this one.
