I was so tempted to buy this as i have seen ppl frm my office using it. Also it is best when are on the move like while on bike or at gym... But alas I checked for its review online this thing tends to get faulty with sweat and mostly ppl complain that their device got ruined in gym itself. Also give the weather conditions of mumbai i doubt if i will be ab;e to use while on bike as it is very humid and you are bound to sweat.IMO Please check the cnet reviews before anyone plans to get it.... -

Again +1 from my side to to Amit bhai instead being tiered of these requests he seems to be enjoying processing them LOL! Had an opportunity to talk with him once this guy is really a gem of a person was really helpful with regards to my EVDO doubts and also extended help to sort my issue. Way to go sirjeee! -

1. The best way is to install 3rd party apps like data counter 3g watchdog from market and monitor your usage. 2. In non EVDO area your plan will not change it will just switch to 1x mode and you will still using your same plan. 3. Again if the current location does not have evdo still you can use 1x and as far as I know whole Mumbai is covered by Evdo of reliance. 4. You can contact the cc over the *222 (Postpaid) and change the plan. 5. Your current plan is windows mobile plan 199 and it gives you 500 MB without NUC. Just make sure the username/password is your mdn but as Hetal bhai is involved I guess you don't have to worry about it . 6. Seriously I am not sure about it so would refrain answering it. -

Dude I do not want to port to MTS for data plan. As it is my secondary requirement further as suggested by Rim Gurus Amit Jain and Parin i will migrate to Windows Mobile plan 199 soon which will give me 500MB per month without any nuc I guess I can live with it for now. -

It is not great at all 10p/10KB means practically 1p/1KB so it comes to 1024 paise for 1 MB which means Rs.10.24 for 1 MB LOL!

Tried to purchase imation USB DVD Writer but after applying the code it is saying "Discount Coupon Number is Invalid!" I guess as saurabh said it works for purchase of R.s 2500 and upwards. However, I feel that you have entered this code in "Discount coupon" textbox and not the "Gift coupon" section. Just try that section as you can see in the picture attached by Saurabh. -

Upgrading Firmware For HTC Droid Incredible to 2.3 Gingerbread

The leaked firmware is buggy. Recommend not to update as yet. Wait for the issues to resolve. Maybe we shall get an official update soon I am not sure if it is really buggy as I have upgraded my dinc to 2.3.4 from this link http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/08/26/exclusive-download-official-gingerbread-build-for-the-htc-droid-incredible/ IMO i guess it is great no issues till now I have it since say last 15 days and i have noticed increase in speed and battery performance. However battery performance boost is negligible. Also I have overcome the infamous issue of low disk space on my phone. Now I am able to exploit my phone memory and no error comes up if I install a few more apps on it. P.S My phone is still no rooted and it has S On hope it helps. -
I am totally lost now I am not sure how am I being billed for EVDO... I am on L1 and my netconnect plan is default RNC_VALUE. Now I have not been charged for the 100 MB I have used as it comes under L1 quota. But what puzzles me is for 486 units x 10 = 4560 KB which means approximately 5 MB I was charged R.s 24.30. So it comes to around R.s 5 per MB.. Can someone explain me the math here especially Amit bhai I guess would be the best to answer. Following is the portion of my bill which shows my data usage.

Finally thanks for this thread Ranjan bhai and I want to ask you the million dollar question. Bhai what do you apart from being on Rimweb because afaik a guy who is so informed about latest gadgets, where to find them, what is the best deals possible to get them and on and on. For such a guy i guess he will not have much time left to do daily chores let alone social or work commitments. Please don't feel offended I am just asking this out of pure curiosity and no pun intended whatsoever.
