RANJAN bhai I guess there is one more plan where you get unlimited data plan (obliviously 1x) for Rs 299. That is what i heard from CC guys will confirm again and revert back. Further I too have been billed for data usage for sure as my unbilled amount has shot up within two days time. Also the cc guy confirmed that I have not used my free calling as well as SMS allowance. My bill get generated on 11th so egearly waiting to check @ what tune have they billed me. Keeping my fingers crossed

AWEsum FIND mate! Thank you so very much..... But the sad part is I have already ordered one at much higher price I have ordered 2 1800 mAH batteries along with an external charger for whooping $35.50 i.e. 28.50 for batteries and charger and $7.00 for shipping . Still I am happy at least checking your post some one from our forum may benefit out of it . As IMO without these extended batteries our DINC is pretty useless! P.S. +1 for your effort DUDE!

You are absolutely right my friend the MCA gets delayed most of the time on RCDMA at times you never get the alert it self. Forget about MCA alert SMS most of the time even I get normal sms delivered quite late or the next day :Equivocado:

Even I tried to get some offer through RCOM by pretending to port my number. But as my current plan (FV399)seems to be the best as per my usage which I mostly onnet and few local calling. So I spoke to them about the network issue I had faced for the past 1 year at my office. At around 11.30 pm every day the network goes down and i have zero network or just one bar till around say 5 am. They said that they will get back to me on this and guess what they did LOL. They said that a tech guy will visit my office and check how far is the tower located from my office they informed me that every night around 11 the building where the nearest tower is located goes on inverter backup and dies out which in return makes the network weak. (Though I am not sure if its is true this was something they they never cared to check to inform) They said that will fix this asap so that my problem is solved. For me this is something which retains myself to a provider. For the past 1 year I had tried escalating this issue but no one responded BUT now I can see the MNP effect P.S. Sorry if this post is irrelevant to this topic or if I have hijacked this thread. But I felt like sharing how MNP is changing things at least for now

AFAIK this service is active since the end of December 2010. I was on leave from 20th of December for the whole week and was traveling, most of the time I was not reachable and whenever I was accessible by Manager got a message that I can be reached now (obviously he had tried calling me earlier when I had no network coverage). When I came back he informed me about this and I came to know how at times technology can screw you :Contento: BTW I am too feed up of not receiving alerts when I am on 1X. :Equivocado:

Ditto here i have even called customer support about this issue. But they conifrmed that it is a problem with their imobile server for now and the outage may last till 30 jan still they say that sporadically customers may be able use it. I tried multiple times but no sucess. Further, initally while loading the app it says gprs sucess which i guess is internet check! Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk

I see the same issue with my Incredible on stock 2.2 and it is too not rooted does any one one have a solution to this other than rooting and installing a custom rom.

Exactly! U can port this number and use 3g on a gsm phone. But we cant use evo on gsm platform as it is a cdma hamdset. Also though i am not sure i guess using gsm 1x data u can receive calls while you are using data. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk
