Awesum specs at the given price. I don't think even those Chinese phones have so much to offer at this price tag. The only problem imho is tethering @ battery which has 1000 mah juice.

As of now ICS is not available for dinc 2. But I guess you will have it soon as HTC is very good with updated. Though if you see this post which shows the list htc devices to get ICS, dinc 2 is not mentioned there. However, Incredible S is mentioned there which is similar to Dinc 2 so I guess you can keep your fingers crossed.

Amit bhai I have a quite similar issue I did a complete SBF using Rsd lite on my motorolola photon as I was trying to sort out some other issue. Guess what after the reset the EVDO is gone now it is on 1X I have the Nv dump and the EVDO prl which has been loaded using cdma workshop but still it is on 1x. Also I see that my phone is not busy when I use 1X I mean i get calls when I am online but obviously data stops. Any inputs???

Guys have you ever wondered that our mopho takes a while to boot up. I mean ppl with photon will understand exactly what I mean as our phone takes around 2 mins to boot up with all the animation including the sprint NOW network screen, and additional 30 to 45 sec (user dependent) to load other programs. Now HTC phones like Droid Incredible, Incredible 2 and for the matter of fact even Evo 4G has an option called fast boot which if enabled will skip all the useless fireworks and gets straight to the point I mean it takes around 15 secs to boot up with that option. I understand that we do not have that option under mopho but come on guys at least we can find some work around here. With all my search all i found was how to change the boot animation So if anyone has any idea please shed some light on this matter that would be highly appreciated. OT :- Which searching for the above mentioned problem I cam across a video which shows an EVO 4G with ported motoblur and this ROM is called EVOLUR The link for the video is

Afaik Hetal bhai tested it and only voice and sms was working with no data However, there is a similar post over the forum which mentioned that some people using china telecom were able to use ruim for both data and voice.

If that the case I guess both Dinc2 and mopho (Motorola Photon) is the best dual network phones for now as both evdo and 3g on gsm are supported. And the switch from cdma to gsm or vice versa takes around 3 to 5 secs only

Kumaar sir the ussd problem is found in some world phones but not all. Dinc 2 does not have this issue as I am posting this reply from Dinc 2 itself. I too use Airtel prepaid on mopho but the problem is as per cc the 3g balance can only be checked through ussd no and and not through call. And after the quota it is rs. 10 per mb. I have lost around rs. 100 in balance after the quota got over. Now I am using the same sim on Dinc 2 and it gives me ussd with data balance after I disconnect the data. Ussd problem is not solved so I bought an idea corporate plan post paid sim for mopho. My evdo is not yet solved but Delhi dur nahi hai as hetal bhai is looking in to it. Finally let me know when would you be free this weekend so that I will call you and root your phone. It will take max 5 mins apart fromthe normal chit chat we do LOL.

Sanjay sir you can use the contact remover plus app from market to find and remove the duplicate contacts. Please note this is a paid app and i am sure you know how to get it . Or else bol dena I will email it to you. Avoid getting just contact remover app which is free but will not do the trick.

Finally as far as my experience goes it is great till now as when i ordered there was problem with ccavenue their payment gateway so the payment page did not come. The second option was Paypal when i chose it was charging me in $ (not sure why) and there was a difference of like 100 bucks so i did not pay through paypal. Now my these two attempts were recorded as pending status and i was not able to use the coupon further which was valid for 2 purchases from one account. Now I used my official email address after an hour to create a new account and pay and this time the payment went through ccavenue. But within say an two hours from my first attempt i got a call from these guys to alter me that the payment didn't go through so should they assist me with it. I explained the situation and they canceled the pending orders. Also within few hours i got an email that my order is shipped. So to cut the story short i see that these people are very good at customer service and the shipment is super quick. Any one with MoPho wondering to get the accurate battery stats (FYI to those who are unaware of this photon like some other phones show battery percentage in the levels of 10, 20, 30.. that too using third party apps). I am using 2X Battery this app will show the accurate battery stats in % (This info was imparted by veteran KumaarShah all credit goes to him.) You can get the lite version free from the market and will suffice basic needs.

Not sure what could be be the exact reason for this error try contacting Dr Muffadal about this. Meanwhile did you try using some other version of sbf or a different stock sbf. AFAIK you should always use stock sbf to be on the safer side.
