    To be frank only after this 10 billion promo I started buying paid apps for my phone. Here is my list of apps that I purchased till now. (I really missed Flight track app) Also most of them are games and please don't flame for my choice of apps as most of the games are for my girlfriend as she is addicted to android games.   10. There is no second thought about photon being the best out of these. But I guess dinc2 is much more reliable as photon as the infamous reboot issue.

    Just an fyi for the photon users using this trick once you disable the SprintOMADMConnMOPlugin.apk you will not be able to lock the phone using the default Motorola security lock. It means you will not n be able to use any password oriented lock such as pattern, pin or characters to lock the phone. The only work around is to put the phone on airplane mode and then restart it and it will skip the activation. Once the phone is up you can put the airplane mode off. I know it will be a pain but in this case you do not need to disable the SprintOMADMConnMOPlugin.apk and you can use the security lock for your phone.

    Kapil bhai what issue are you referring to? Is that a fix for the speaker issue I had mentioned. Btw i have did a complete sbf on the phone for the firware update. I guess i did a cache prior to the sbf but what do you mean by wipe data. I guess it is same as factory reset. I know it is under cwm but can you put some light on it. Also can please any one with a photon be kind enough to check the speaker issue that I had mentioned in the post 59 Thanks

  15. Kailash bhai and mukesh yaar relax. Btw i had ordered 4 of these and already received 3. All of them are same class 4 and sandisk. Now i spoke with the actual vendor for hs18. She was quite cool appologized for the wrong shipment and politly asked to send it back unopened. Btw she too said she is currently out if stock with sammy cards and over 150 orders are pending so it will take her sometime for replacement. But she said this shipping error was only for 15 orders. So she will first fix those who send back her first. So my point is if you decide to keep this card iam pretty sure that the new listing for this card will be costlier as it currently out out of stock . But again as per the link it seems class 4 sandisk is best for phones where random speeds actually matters. So as of now i am planning to hold on to these cards atleast for this week so that i will check one of them and make the final decision. Finally i am planning to open a new post for this topic as we are going way too off topic and soon rajan sir may kick me for tht P.S As the card is out of stock but if any rim member wants to buy it do let me know. As that sweet lady promised me she will send 4 sammy cards class 10 cards even if we buy sandisk class 4 at the price it was listed earlier.

    Way to over priced... On top of it ppl do like the bling factor attached to it and like to flash it as a trophy. Most of them only use it for calling and text or camera. At least that is the case with cdma iPhones without wifi they are basically useless.

  18. Got a call frm rishab frm hs18 backend team asking to call thier customer care for tnt courier details so that a scheduled pickup can be arranged for all four cards. And they will send the Samsung ones once they receive inward shipment.
  19. Thanks. Like i said it was delivered at a friend's address and he was the one who said it was not mentioned. Btw my kutchi friend does not care abt speed and class and all. All he is intrested in is the capacity so he is quite happy with it and is using it in his evo.
  20. Got it. Homeshop18 have sent a Sandisk (not Samsung) 32GB Class 4 (not Class 10) Micro SD card. No bill. Also a Quantum memory card reader. My online buying experience was great for last couple of years but now 2-3 bad experiences...and I am thinking that quality is going way too down with increased number of customers with these websites. BTW, this was my first experience with homeshop18. I have my fingers crossed. I have ordered 4 of these cards with a dent of 8k on my cc. I am not in a mood to fight with HS18 as i had a horrible experience with them earlier. I have received alerts about them being shipped. Will revert back once I receive it. I received one of out of 4. And it is also sandisk 32 gb class 4 i guess not sure about the class as it was not mentioned on the packing as mentioned by friend where i had it shipped. The card reader is quantum. I will ask him to check read and write speed using sd card tools. The problem is he has already opened the packing so will not be able to claim a refund by sending it back... but as the rest is yet to be delivered at my office i will make sure they are sent back. Meanwhile lodged a complaint with hs18 they have provided an eta for 5 to 6 working days. Will wait if it does not resolve i am up for a battle this time and i will issue a charge back for the rest 3.

    Also can some one point me the cheapest available gsm/cdma option to call gulf countries especially Saudi Arab and Dubai in particular. Currently I use fring to make these calls over 3g or wifi at times.

    Ok i stand corrected. I had modified httpd address and httpd port. But I did not modify the values for rtsp address and rtsp port. As I said earlier even when I had made the changes I was not able to check it due my evdo issue. Btw this tweak is done irrespective of the phone. As I had read about this tweak in XDA fourm for htc evo 4g also Dheraj bhai has posted this same info in his review for samsung nexus 4g. Off topic- Can any one with Motorola photon confirm if they face an issue when we make a call and then switch to speaker phone and then switch back to normal then the voice starts cracking. I forgot to mention this in my review. I am pretty sure it has to do with some blur app or sprint internal file which messes up this to and fro action. On top of it after this stunt is over and you complete the call. The next call you do will most likely cause the dead call issue and at times the phone may restart too. So basically speaking this issue is yet to be fixed by moto as I have tried all the updates including the one that we do not get as ota here and all of them seems to surcumb to this task. Btw initially at times I was able to switch back and forth without an issue. It seems like I am being paid by Motorola to test their phone for bugs and hardware issues. Btw that is exactly one of the tasks that I do for living in a software company but thats a different domain.

    I knew it and made the changes but afaik there is no need to change rtsp address rtsp port. However, I am unable to check it as I have an issue with my evdo as it is switching to 1x only. So I will not be able to confirm if it works. So what about you? I made have you checked it in your handset and does it work for you.
