yes i have flashed nv dump file previously via cdma workshop in my s2 by following instructions by parin bhai. Have requested for the nv dump file to parin bhai. Will flash it as soon as i receive it and post the result here.

HI joshm. I just got a s3 from parin and activated my number in it. Now i want to activate my secondary no. in my s2. To do that i want to reset my phone to factory settings to start afresh. From your warnings i understand that we should never do a factory reset from settings menu and also from recovery. Now i just want to know that can i just flash the calculin format all zip file via recovery.

I just got s3 from parin and got it activated. Got the OTA and i appled the update and lost evdo. now getting data speed of only 120kbps. used to get atleast 1mbps. From the previous threads here i think i just need to flash the nv dump file. Please correct me if im wrong and help me get my evdo up and running.

@joshm..wanted to ask you whether we can flash optional addons for galaxy rom like extended toggles in clean blue rom?

Flashed the clean blue rom. Its as good or better than super galaxy. Its really smooth. Didnt have any problem with my evdo also. Its working perfectly. there's one thing that i have noticed or its my phone the battery drain is more than super galaxy rom.

Actually im not sure how i lost evdo. its just a guess that it might be after flashing because i have read somewhere in the forum that a member had also lost evdo after ota update. Anyways i will be flashing my phone with FI25 today and see what'll happen.

hi joshm....nice work again. I have one doubt. Will we lose evdo after updating a rom. Asking this because last time when i flashed the super galaxy rom i think i lost evdo speed and was getting only 1x speed. Thanks to Parin my evdo is up and running . I dont want to lose it again. So asking this before flashing my phone.

yes. you can enter the min no. via cdma workshop manually. i have done it previously in a friends nexus s 4g.

Finished flashing in under 10minutes. I am able to move apps to sd card as well . Now have to wait and watch if the apps remain or disappear.

Excellent.....Will flash the new rom right away and hope that will solve my apps to sd card issue.

Yes sd card is installed in the card slot of my phone and im able to browse all the files in it like music pics videos etc. There is no problem with sd card. The problem is only with apps installed in sd card. They just disappear and their shortcuts get greyed out . Now after flashing full data wipe rom im not able to move apps to sd card at all.

Hi Joshm, i was able to go to green recovery and make a nandroid backup. The problem with apps installed in sd card disappearing persists. I even flashed the 1st link of flashing odin FI03, the full data wipe option even formatted my sd card in the phone itself. After all this now im not able to move apps to sd card. Is there anything else that i can do to resolve this. Could this be a problem in the FI03 rom.

ooh yeah thanks joshm. My mistake. I was pressing and holding vol down and power button. I have managed to get into green recovery. Will make a nandroid backup and flash Calkulin's Bare ROM Converter and let you know what happens.

Hi joshm. Im trying to flash the recovery. Im getting till the step where we have to check the md5. My phone is restarting. But its just normal restart and im not getting any screen showing updation of xxx apps and stuff. I downloaded all the files again and tried. Still no success. When i press and hold vol down and power button its taking me to the screen where we have to press the vol up button to continue flashing. Like |Amit i too have lost all apps installed in the sd card.

My battery usage info. Have installed juice defender. 1.5 hours of screen on time. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2

Im using samsung HM1100 bluetooth hands free with epic touch. The volume is very low with s2 and it is very difficult to hear anything. When i connect the same handsfree with my fascinate its very loud n clear. I have tried increasing the vol in both the bluetooth device and the phone. Still the volume is very low. Any suggestions to solve this will be very helpful.

Hi guys.....the default way of taking a screenshot in epic touch is by pressing home key and the power key simultaneously. This dosent seem to work in my phone. Is there any other way of doing it.
