I am using tata docomo since long time Few days back I saw that3 was deducted from my account I sent sms CALL to 111 but got no details Today I logged into my account and saw that3 had been deducted for 3G AmazingmodelCall (whatever is that) with no call duration as you can see in the attached image Does anybody knows what is this I do not want to ask the CC
  2. I bought the philips earphone from e bay I have a problem that I get a low volume when I use it without connector ( I can't understand the use for connector as both are of 3.5mm) I have used the earphone with I phone 4 (bad result) and Micromax Qube ( good result but with connector)

  5. Actually I didnt wanted to take risk. Last time I bought IDEA Netsetter unlocked & it wouldnt connect to BSNL but all others. Then, it came to my notice on various forums & google that huewai cards (idea branded) do not work with BSNL west zone (check this postwith its lengthy solution). On the other hand, bsnl sells micromax & it works wery well here (west zone). Hence, I opted for micromax. Still, will try to experiment with risk of 1400/- & see if alcatel works or not for future... But for that have to accumulate some funds 1st... BTW thanks for sharing... For using huwaei cards with bsnl sim of west zone you do not have to go thru the complex process mentioned above just download the "T mobile web connect manager" and try to connect with that software i am using that software and it is working fine with my vodafone huwaei modem i don't have the link for it now as I had downloaded it months ago but just search it and you will find it I think I had posted a link in this forum somewhere
  6. I bought 2 Sandisk 8 GB pen drive for Rs 549 ((399*2)+1-250)Rs 1 for discount of Rs 250 from letsbuy.com I recd the pen drive in 3 days and had to pay Rs 45 extra for Octroi. But the thing is I got a different model than the one shown on the site Please if anyone else had ordered for the same confirm as to which model they got

    Never go for Tikona it is the most unreliable broadband (if you can call it one) connection. One day it will be superfast then it will be damn slow for two days No response to complaints even if it is forwarded to nodal office. Best and cheap is BSNL
  9. your friends might be on trial offer for 3g plans Vodafone had 3g trial offer till april 11th I had used it on my prepaid card
  10. for aircel you have to use the apn aircelgprs and the pocket internet works fine thru modem In fact I am using the Rs 98 plan which gives 3gb in one month there are also other plans like 301 which gives unlimited net for 3 months I do not have 3g network for aircel here so cant say about that Regarding docomo we have 3g network over here but the speed is not good for the past two months before that it was very fast Most of the networks like bsnl or docomo give 3g access even if you recharge with 2g plans
  11. can you tell which model is it Since I am using vodafone usb modem k3565 and have unlocked it and am used aircel, docomo, uninor, bsnl sims on it with no problem just google with your model name and unlocking eg "k3565 unlocking" and you will find what to do to unlock it Infact I am now on aircel net with vodafone usb modem

I found this thing only in Tata Docomo They have normal as well as special recharge of same denomination I had gone to recharge Rs 48 for 2 GB /month usage As usual I asked the vendor for 48 Rs recharge he did the recharge and I got Rs 41.xx talktime but no GPRS usage I called on CC They told I should have told for a special recharge When I asked the vendor about this he had no idea as to what GPRS is. Now recharges are available with everyone including panwala and others who have no idea as to what GPRS is then how will they recharge for it. Because of this I had to spend Rs 96 instead of Rs 48 Will you call this cheating or what. If I want to do talktime recharge won't I do of a 50 instead of 48

    is anybody able to make video calls with vodafone 3g i tried calling but its not working on prepaid And on my postpaid 3g is not being activated I simply get the sms that it will be activated within 72 hrs the CC is of no use as they give a TAT of 24 hrs whenever I call them

Why is it that facebook is sending sms that it will not send sms unless we de register ourself from DND list This thing is too bad Now I will have to de register from DND to receive the sms I want as well as the SMS I dont want then what is the use of DND tomorrow bank will also do the same thing Service providers should have a DD(Do Disturb) list also so that we are not put to any inconvenince

  17. I just searched the net and found out how to use bsnl 3g card with huwaei vodafone modem Just search the net for software "TM_webConnect_2_05_0036_0_Setup.exe" download it and install it and you can use bsnl net on your vodafone huwaie data card I am using it right now

  19. i think docomo is much cheaper I am using a docomo sim card with Rs 95 recharge for 6gb in my usb modem and it is giving me great speed the download speed is more than 300 KBPS (which was earlier 20 kbps) and i could download a 700 MB movie thru torrent in 1 hr Then why will I pay for higher 3g plans of docomo Is this some kind of loop hole or what

  22. The wap site will open in any mobile with sim of any company but you should have a valid username and password to enter the site The web site which used to open in VL is not opening in VMC nor in other company's sim
  23. thats not true i was able to access crm thru normal sim also now also I am able to access their wap site but not the full website I am using windows mobile
  24. yes I have used the official SIM as well as a normal SIM. When I was using vodafone live the crm was opening fine but now with VMC the site is not opening
  25. vodafone app store does not open using VMC it used to open only in Vodafone live
