I have Prolific 2303 Usb to serial bridge cable for my nokia 2280 phone so that i can ise r connect at my home pc. but the prolific driver is installed and i am unable to install the modem driver successfuly as the cable is installed on COM 3 port and the driver for modem should also be installed on COM 3, insted its installed on eicther COM 1 OR COM 2 OR COM 4 other than COM 3, if some how i chane the cable port to com4 on which the modem is installed then also the modem doesn't work. please guide me why this modem doesnt work at all. or do i need to buy nokia original dku-5 cable worth 3000 INR/- please guide me i am in need of help.
i am using win xp.
I tried everything on internet now ended up in a forum disscussion.
