Maybe TRAI should come out with the recommendation that for every call that does not go through because of network congestion, the operators should refund some amount (say 50 paise) to the consumer. Then the operators will see the light and keep capacity and customers in sync.

The 3G policy is being formulated for years. Its high time DoT speeds up the process and let India have 3G on its mobiles by the end of this year.

I guess most people would prefer to have an iPhone only as an entertainment tool. The utility factor for a windows based mobile phone,like HTC Mogul or Touch, is much higher, if it is to be used for official purposes. So 22K would be too high a price to pay for an entertainment gadget for working middle class like me. If Vodaphone/Airtel plan to sell it to the masses, then they better keep the cost under 15K.

I have both 6800 and 6900. And Mogul is better anytime than 6800. It has got wifi, full qwerty slide-out key board, more buttons for convenience of use and of course, looks more manly. The Touch is a bit femine in looks, so I have given it to my wifey (Hope I dont incur the wrath of Touch owners)

Vijay Bhai, I have done that, but still it is not working. When I am creating an sms using fully Qwerty key board, I get 4 words as word prediction on my Mogul. But when I create an sms on my Touch, it does not predict the 4 words. I am using the original Sprint rom. Have I missed to instal any software which is independent of the rom?

Good mobile - full keyboard + touchscreen is a good combination, and at 14K, it seems to be priced quite reasonable

Best example is the national SMS costs Rs 2 whereas the STD rate is only Rs 1.5 per minute in most of the plans and even lower when one uses STD card. So call makes more sense than SMS
