    Did u activate std?

    I dont think there is any deposit for STD.. (not sure) :rolleyes:

    I was in 149 budget plan, i dint pay any deposit for STD.... 

    Still i was able to make STD calls.

    But there is deposit for ISD :)

    And in case of sms, i send sms daily to bpl and airtel.. and they were delivered successfully.. Also i get sms back from airtel too.. but not from BPL

    Rent of Rs.249/- is unjustified as Reliance Infocomm fail to give SMS Services. We are unable to send SMS to Dolphin , Airtel , BPL , Trump. Further short SMS ie SMS to 4 digit addresses.

    Advance Deposit is asked for using the facility of STD that also after blocking the STD facility. There is no mention of such Deposit in any of the documents given to us at the time of taking connection.

    I am at Mumbai.They informed me that my STD calls are on higher side, to reactivate you have to pay Rs1700 as deposit. My STD calls charges were below Rs 200.
