Hi Hetal I suppose you are not closing the connection used to import assuming that you are using Vb.net in OpenImport_Click you must close the connection after you read the Excel file say if your connection is defined as MyFileCon then you need to say MyFileCon.Close() that's it If you still want the connection open in the Import_Click you can reopen it do the validations you do in the OpenImport_Click and continue with your import and dont forget to close the connection here also

There is a workaround As far as CAll Blocking (Reciving ) is concern this can be done But you have to sacrifice a group from your phone list Now days most phones have a concept of Grouping Add All the Numbers you want to a particular group say Block calls now Asign a blakn ringtone to this group so now any one of these numbers call you the phone wont ring
