that hole does not press at all , quite risky might actually get a hole there as it is very hard unable to press. if i make a hole i might loose my warranty.

rooted which was unsuccessful, tried odin it , pc got hangged so was was epic, does not power on .

get a i-pad screen gaurd , it is very easily available in the market , cut to size and use it u can use it 4 time i suppose that goes cheaper also. i have done that

Go to settings ,about phone, legal information, licence settings, divx registretion process, register. Write down the code. Go to your pc download divx player go to register new put the code , you will get a divx file save it on pc and transfer on sd card. Go to my files and select the file , it will run and your player will be registered. Same process has to be done on all or any divx compatible devices.

i am not sure about it but try registering your divx player, i have done it and i am no such difficulties.

That means that your EVDO is not activated and you are on 1x.

Your phone must be diag mode. Dial ##8778# and select pda. I am using Win 7 (32bit) Windows unable to show SD card icon in the Explorer When connecting USB cable, i pick "Mass Storage". but still cant see the icon in Explorer. I tried uninstaling/installing drivers, then USB Debug mode On/off(tried both).. but still cant find the SD card icon to move CSV files.

Export all contacts to desktop from outlook in csv format, than import them to either gmail or copy them to sd card then import directly to epic.

In Default data plan you will be charged arund 50 paise per minute, u will end up paying a very large amount. Change your plan immediately to avoid that.

The same procedure I have published go to di18 using odin than ota.

I think now we have just one issue with epic which the devs and our rim gurus must find a solution that is call conferencing I.e. 3 way call.

also i would suggest not to root the epic on ec05, it has a bug. let a new version of cwm come for eco5. ec05 is not supporting roots. it behaves strangely.

f. reset not to be ticked and if you do not have debug tick jsut phone efs cleaar an update bootloader and auto reboot. I'm using Odin3 v.1.61.. In that version, there is no option to tick box for debug, Also you have not mentioned if the F Reset Time box should be ticked or not. Could you clarify those two points for me please?

Thank u dk But I'll repeat do not write any.qcn file . Just write the nam settings using cdma ws. Do not use qpst anywhere.

port back to di18 using odin , in odin mark the options 1) auto reboot 2) debug 3) phone efs clear and 4) update bootloader. use pit file s1_odin_20100512.pit and place di 18 tar file in pda. and flash. after flashing connect to cdma and write the ppp.txt file using nv write , flash the prl and insert your nam settings. as soon as you do this and connect to your google account you will start recieving ota. upgrade it . see to it that your battery is fully charged.

i am on ec05 ota since yesterday an no isuues my epic is working excellent. actually saying it has really turned into a beast now.
