even anytimeretail.com charges some percentage (don't remember exactly) termed as gateway charges. I always pay through netbanking. never tried credit card though.. -
^ it does have call reject feature, calls gets rejected from the defined numbers, without ringing, but rejected calls shows in missed calls list..

with closed eyes, go for Samsung Guru Dual aka SCH-W139 am getting standby of approx. 2 to 2.5 days, with heavy calling on GSM & moderate calling on CDMA.

^ and above all, as all telemarketing numbers (including numbers belonging to telecom operators), starts from 0140, even the verification calls are being made by these numbers. So, blocking or not attending calls from those nos. would lead to deactivation/suspension of the number (facing this issue with idea preapid - fancy no.) and struggling to get that no. reactivated (paid premium for that fancy no. to the retailer).. -

^ reliance sends SMS regarding the renewal of services.. on my R-GSM prepaid, last month i had activated Rs. 14 SMS Pack. this month, i got a message from reliance regarding the renewal of sms pack. i had to respond, if i did not want to renew it, else, it will be renewed, and balance will be deducted from main balance. I didn't respond, and SMS pack was auto renewed.. -
^ not true.. just activate full DND (START 0) and then get all the VAS Packs removed, when you'll get confirmation.. reliance will send you a msg. numerous time to change your preference citing the reason that you'll miss special offers and promos, but just ignore them.. am using R-GSM Prepaid for the last six months and not a single penny was deducted by reliance till date..

very true.. even i faced VAS deductions in Tata DoCoMo through their "Bollywood Pack" & "Weight Loss Tips" while using their EDGE service on unlocked Modem only. I wonder, how they knew that i'm overweight.. shifting to Unlimited Aircel 3G now.. -

i doubt, samsung would honor the warrenty, as the stock was quite old, and the terms of liquidation stock by Reliance clearly states that "No Warrenty". Try your luck, though.. I bought many phones, during the stock liquidation but never got warrenty on any handset. i) Blackberry 8130 & Blackberry 8110 @ Rs. 2500.00 each. ii) Blackberry Tour 9630 @ Rs. 8000.00 iii) LG RD 6600 @ Rs. 2500.00 iv) LG KP100 (GSM) & Nokia 1325 @ Rs. 600.00 each. -
there are few options (HTC Incredible 2, Moto Droid 3, Moto Droid Razr, etc.) for MTS, after modding the ROM, but, even used devices are crossing the barrier of budget specified by OP..
