based on my experiance, am sharing this apart from the configuration of the handset, the following steps are followed by Reliance. i) MDN is to be mapped to the registered MEID - Automated system does this when no. is transferred to MEID registered handset. ii) Activation of EVDO on the MDN - If EVDO is not activated on the MDN, eventhough the handset is configured with HDR UN & Password, EVDO will not work. The Request has to be done for actiavation of EVDO with Reliance Customer Care / Reliance World / Reliance Mobile Store. A12Auth Flag checked by the backend. iii) After this, EVDO starts working, but in case of Handset Change, the process is a bit complex. new HDR UN & Password needs to be mapped manually with the MDN, for this reactivation needs to be done, because when the MDN got transferred to the new handset, everything except mapping of new HDR UN & Password is done by automated process. so , even after transferring the MDN to new device, OLD HDR UN & Password is mapped to the MDN & EVDO will not work on the new device with OLD MDN. Similarly, if the OLD device is sold to someone, EVDO will not work, evenafter A12Auth is there on the buyers' MDN, because OLD HDR U/N & Password will still mapped with your MDN. this is purely as per my experiance, as i have gone through all this complex processes for the activation of EVDO on my incredible, because earlier the EVDO was authorized on My OMH RUIM.. Gurus please correct me, if am wrong..

Dear Friends & Gurus Please suggest me an Android handset with not less than 1 GHz processor, but over & above, the requirement is of "Call Conferencing" i'm using Reliance Postpaid with Call Conferencing activated from the backend. I use this feature currently on my HTC P3000, earlier on HTC Mogul & Nokia 6275. However, conferencing doesn't work for me in Blackberry Storm 9530, so had to shift back to P3000. Please help me in chosing one.. Thanks..

save a contact in such a way that it always be on top of list (by using any special charecter or something), in my case, its 3 - Conf and save dialing no. as 3.. Steps for conferencing 1 - Place a call, either by dialing a no. or taking from phone book.. 2 - Place another call, by any menthod.. (first person will go on hold) 3 - access phonebook & dial the saved Conference No., which is 3 I use Go Contacts & Go Dialer, as default phonebook & call application.. if you're using the same, make sure to uncheck the "Call Confirm" option. path for this option is Phone > Menu > Settings > Dial Settings hope this helps..

^ sir, when the message is delivered, there is no audible notification, for that, only visual notification is there, which anyone can miss.. but to confirm, a green tick mark appears just below the message confirms the delivery notification..

sir, call conferencing works for me in roaming too.. am on R-CDMA postpaid.. for the solution of Call Conferencing by amit.shah, please see this post.. edit : am using GO SMS Pro for texting & getting real time Delivery Reports (tested by sending texts to my other numbers)..

^ am a proud owner of HTC incredible.. awesome device.. call conference working fine <thanks to amit.shah>, alongwith HTC HD2 for GSM, although now i want to go for HTC EVO 4G, because i feel, Incredible, smaller wrt screen size, as compared to HD2.. Only thing is am not able to get Horizontal Cradle for Incredible till now.. my vote for HTC Incredible..
