Strange problem in Verizon BB 9530 Successfully activated on Reliance today.. Voice calls works fine when dialing to someone & receiving, but when i try to call from any number picked up, either from Call log or from address book, am getting message "Please contact Reliance Customer Care" This is my very first BB device, which i am playing around with, so haven't much idea about BB OS. Gurus, please help, as i need this urgently.. (have to gift this device (activated) to someone..) Thanks..

This is a myth.. As the Open Market Handsets are meant for any network, they are available at the same time, when its available in RWs, sometimes before that.. However, this Handset is not yet received by Regional Distributor (UP), as am constantly following it up, but still no sign of its availability..

^ this is an official handset.. its going to hit the market in early or mid this month.. have heard that even R-COM & TATA is coming up with some promotional schemes for the prospective buyers of this handset..

this is very old issue of RCOM's call forwarding facility.. I can not forward my voice calls from my RCDMA to my BSNL no., what more, even i'm not able to forward my RCDMA's call to RGSM (9696xxyxxx) but my other RGSM no. (9026xxyxxx) works perfectly fine..

please call RCOM's BB support team on *363 or if you can, please visit E-18, NDSE Part 2, South Extn. New Delhi (Blackberry Service Centre) for the issue..

till date they (reliance) are not able to provide any update to 2.2 or even 2.1 on much awaited, first ever official android handset samsung i899.. how can we expect EPIC from them.. that too on such a low price..

yes, you can upgrade your existing RUIM card to OMH RUIM card.. for this you need to visit Reliance World (in case of Reliance) or Tata True Value Shop (in case of Tata)..

they are.. got one for a friend here in kanpur (UP-E)..

official 8330 is 1xEV complatible (1x as well as EVDO) wherein imported handsets EVDO is nearly not possible..

the reliance official curve is 8330.. but please make sure to get a new handset in these exchange offers.. many times, they provide refurbished handsets..
