I bought a new Netconnect+ connection today in Prepaid. I am from Maharashtra Goa Circle. I enquired about the website package to retailer they bluntly said it was only for Postpaid users. Please could anyone help get details on how to activate the website and also is this scheme available for Prepaid users too?? Thanks in advance

Hi guys, I am using Vodafone new number series 8806. I am a heavy text user and most of the texting sessions start up after evening(7pm to 11.30pm). I have recently noticed that the SMS delivery has become sloggy in late hours esp. to TATA Docomo. Many times i have to send a message twice to get it delivered. Has anybody else from Maharashtra & Goa circle expereinced this?? Please post your experience. Thanks

Vodafone launched Unlimited SMS Pack silently in the last week. No commercials or Ads or flyers whatsoever:confuse: The details are as under: Unlimited SMS Pack - Rs. 66 (E-Top Up only); No daily deduction of any kind SMS - 500/day (Local + National) Validity - 30 days SMS counter for balance sms's can be checked by dialling *141*1# Black out days are valid and SMS Pack will not be applicable on those days. For futher information SMS 'TEXT' to 111 I recently used this pack and service provided is amazing. There is no congestion in network whatsoever. Delivery of sms is not a problem at all. Well the pack is costly as compared to RGSM and marginally costly as compared to DoCoMo but service provided is flawless which pays off for it.

Today at 7.30 pm the Reliance GSM network just died. No response of any kind there. Even cannot see 'RELIANCE' on my handset. I am having 3 RGSM connections and all are dead. But RCDMA is working fine. Anybody else facing same problem???

RGSM is giving good plans. But i am closely watching their quality of service and network quality. BTW i am currently using 1 RGSM, 1Tata Docomo, 1 Vodafone and 1 RCDMA. So right now i am sailing in all boats (almost)! But i am fan of reliance so just hoping that RGSM will make their quality of network dependable and service appreciable... Reliance Rocksss...

Vodafone launched yesterday a Bonus Card of Rs.52 in Karnataka for virtually unlimited sms. This is a move in response to the heat felt by the company due to competitive sms packs realeased by RCOM. Details: Bonus Card - Rs.52/- Validity - 30 days 500 (Local+National) sms's per day. (Fair usage policy) No daily deduction. For more information SMS TEXT to 111 (toll free) from Vodafone mobile phones. Biggies feeling the heat......

But in Maharashtra & Goa circle the quality of network has dropped considerably since they launched those SMS packs. Call jamming is taking place each evening. SMS sending is becoming a pain. Each message is needed to be sent twice else it fails to deliver. This is not good. Tariff is excellent even coverage is excellent but functioning quality not at all upto the mark.If this continues they will lose customers.

From yesterday i am able to send any messages from my 9595 series no. The balance gets deducted but message is not getting delivered and i am not receiving any delivery reports also. Everything is showing pending.... But my 8055 series is working fine. So cant understand what is wrong with my 9595 no. Anybody experiencing this problem? Also could anybody guide me to resolve this problem...Please anybody could reply to my question?

Is this official news or something unofficial??? What improvements they are going to do??? Also please anybody could discuss about how RGSM is going to cope up with load of SMS?? I know that SMS is far more lightweight as compared to call but network is not giving such kind of result, so was curious???

Now i am returning to this thread after 5 days. Now the network death has stopped for sure but as kangadeepan says they are testing something on their networks. Yesterday while moving through city i saw new receptors fitting going for two towers. SO i guess they are improving the network. But these days my sms are getting delayed or they are actually getting sent but not getting delivery report. This has noticeably started after the sms packs they have offered. So anybody else experiencing the same problem??? Reply.... Btw i am big RGSM fan these days...

TRAI just launched recently that Rs.19 will be the maximum charge for MNP. So everybody who is unhappy with service or tariff is dreaming for March 2010. Where everybody will be able to switch or ditch operator . Just look at the offers introduced by operators to attract customers to themselves. IF you have balance on your phone then you can apply any packages in case of RGSM. You can get balance your way either bank or site etc. Then, Dial *777# You will get an USSD menu Here you will get all the options of special packs viz. call packs & SMS Packs & PPS Billing & PPC Billing etc. Just select and proceed you will get recharged with pack with deduction from your main balance. No need to visit any vendor etc or packs. RGSM Rocks!!!

I want to buy a QWERTY keypad phone. Somebody please suggest me some good handset. Price is not a problem. I dont mind getting a entry level one or far end of price band too. I want it for better messaging and net browsing. Camera / Music Player etc. not important as i already have hansdets for those needs. Thanks in advance

Today i checked my USSD menu and i got the details of Vodafone Per Second Billing Plan: Vodafone Per Second Billing: Recharge with Bonus Card 64 and tariff will be: 1p/sec for Vodafone to Vodafone (All India) & 1.20p/sec for Other Mobile/LL (All India) (works out to 72p/min) Validity : 1 Year If possible somebody confirm the scheme and post.

Idea launched dubbed version of 'Simply Reliance' scheme silently today for Maharashtra & Goa Circle A recharge of Rs.57/- is to made for getting 50p for local / STD / SMS. Validity : 1 year. Details about incoming/outgoing in roaming not yet known. Way to go Reliance you seem to be a trailblazer for other operators.

Today i called and when i disconnected the USSD menu was showing the last was 240sec & Main bal. XX etc. I am right now on Rs.80 Voucher no deduction from main balance. But i think RGSM is upgrading its system for per sec billing.
