I have read in sum forum that reliance is now accepting non-reliance handset and registering them in reliance and activating them. is this true ????

I guess it should work as i tried in 3-4 phones. please make sure u doning the right way. All you nned to do is like scrolling the folder with files OPEN.

I tell you how.... Place an image (jpg) and mobile video file (3gp) in the same directory now open and run the 3gp file and in the mid press the down key and you phone will restart for sure. This is the bug in the phone and you can use it as a fault in phone and get it replaced. or else you can use MobiMb and download some application this will again hang the phone 4 sure another bugging the phone solution.

Where? I don't see anywhere written over there that remotely suggests, that Reliance has started accepting Non reliance handsets. It only says Tata can accept RIM handsets, and not vice versa. Reliance activates only phones whose esn is registered in their database,whereas tata accepts all nokia phones.Speak to reliance customer care or visit a reliance web world to have your esn registered with reliance as they have now started accepting open market handsets. Its clearly mentioned.......

Hi Guys, A friend of mine got me Nokia 6015i CDMA Handset (Earlier activated with Verizon Network USA) . I want to use it in Reliance. Can any1 help me using it in reliance network ????? Wat i did earlier was that i formated my card thru computer using card reader. I suddenly found that my 256 mb card became 4GB. I WAS SHOCK 2 SEE THAT

got my cell back. They replaced it with the new 1 burt i m just so scard of using it that it may not get the same prob as it was there earlier. I dnt want 2 give my phone 2 them again 4 20 days

I think thats the last resort as i went to Nokia care 2day and they told 2 wait 4 another week i told them that either give me new piece in without any bug in it in a week's time or will go to consumer court and sue Nokia.

Guys Ihave given my phone 2 nokia and they will replace it in a weeks time. There is another member with the name Pbjain who have faced the same problem and got replaced 2 handsets bt the problem is still in his handset. So as you guys are saying that battery is not an issue then it the phone quality is not gud. When i went 2 nokia (Brightpoint) i could see many ppl there with some problem with this phone. There was a guy who bot the handset and the moment he used exchange card he faced the same problem. Anyways keep me updated with these issues. Thanks r2m

Hi Guys, I want this to come to your notice that Nokia 6255 has a serious problem. Suggestion: Please dont use any other battery apart from supplied with the handset. Not even any other nokia original once. I have a frequent usage of phone and bot a new battery from Nokia Care. The moment i inserted the battery and switched on the phone. The phone restart as frequent as you breath. Now even after i am using the orinal suppied battery the phone is have the same problem. Will go to the Nokia Care again and c what they have 2 say about it. <TOPIC MERGED!>

I have faced the same problem and noticed it when i am browsing gallery. I tell you how it happens. When i am viewing a 3gp file and use the down key to see the next item. If the next item is a picture i.e. jpeg or gif it hangs and reboot. It works fine when they are in specific folder i.e. Audio / Video / images etc. But the phone get hot after 10mins talk.
