I can tell you from my experience that the number is wrongly allotted to you. Did you load on from a GSK kit or from a blank SIM? If it is from a blank sim, then reliance has deactivated the SIM to cell no connectivity. So your SIM card is junk now. I had experienced that. Finally I got the new number. Fortunately the person who sold me atleast gave refund for what I paid. Nevertheless it was bad experience. Umesh

I got SMS saying that "You have successfully subscribed to Style Services Rs. 10/10 days subscription. To successfully un-subscribe send SMS toll free to ..." But to my knowledge I had not called CC to subscribe this nor replied to any call or SMS for such a request. They have deducted Rs. 10 from my balance. CC said they will deactivate. But not received a confirmation SMS of deactivation. CC has also not done anything to refund the amount. I do not understand how they can just deduct amount like that. Umesh

I have started using Huwai EC1260. I am surprised that after connecting, it opens reliance communication web page. I do not want to open that page as it adds to my data transfer. What is the solution to stop automatically opening the RCOM web page? Umesh

hi umesh, I too brought Huwai EC1260 on 2nd Nov.I have solution for us to prevent http://www.reliancenetconnect.co.in after getting connected. 1.Explore to "C:\Program Files\Reliance Netconnect - Broadband+\plugins\XFramePlugin" or the nstallation folder if it differs from default folder. 2.Open file "Config.xml" with notepad or any text editor. 3.Go to line no.20 and simply delete URL "http://www.reliancenetconnect.co.in" and save the file. Thats all problem solved. I assume before doing this hack close Reliance Netconnect application. Enzoy! Thanks. It works.

I agree with you. I did not leeave it. They changed it internally. Since this number was not sold to me with starter kit and I used a blank reliance sim, that is why it was easy for them. There is no record of the number is alloted to me.

It seems issue was more than that. This number was also claimed by reliance employee. Then Reliance voted in favour of employee without even bothering to tell customer. I don't know why in first place they activated number in my name at all. it was very bad experience with reliance. I am being allotted a new number. (May not be so good.) Thanks for giving me some suggestions.

I have bought VSleek and unlocked with Unicom software and using on reliance. Can anybody tell me whether the phone book memory is reduced to 200 from 250 contacts? I see only 150 contacts on SIM. I am using CA-42 cable for R-connect with Nokia 2112. Few days back one of the pins on CA-42 cable on Nokia connector got completely damaged while removing. R-Connect is still working, however it takes few attempts before the internet starts. Sometimes many attempts before it starts. Is is possible to repair this cable? Or one has to buy a new one? Umesh
