btw ..theres a law to misusing ur cell phone and can get you in jail for abt 3 yrs ... thats a diffrent story then our govt isnt bothered much ... but we as a citizen should be responsible to avoid such humilating things tht some ppl do using their cell phones ...

well i have come accross very very few ppl (adults) who misuse their cam phone ...but plenty students who misuse it ...not in terms of cam only. ..but thru sms/ems/mms ...

a perfect example of mis-using technology .... ___ schools these days should focus more on morals .... why would students at such a young age need a cell phone to school... i think a law should be formed saying cell phones ARE gadets that are only for adults (ppl who start earning on their own, and rely on their parents money) ___

i saw this article/news clip on rediff.com . just thought to put it in here ... i hope things get well ASAP without any disputes ... i feel they should stay together and do not to bring these issues to media & public notice. When we were small we use to hear this story alot. when do two ppl are fighting for a piece of bread/chapati , a third person comes in and takes away the bread/chapati. I feel the same has happened in the Birla case too .

but any !dea on the price tag of the reliance products, will there be commericals in the channels they with be showing ???? but it definately seems bettters the DD+ , i found out from a close associate of reliance, that they are going to come in a BANG with these services .... DD is going to remain DD only, no matter how much they spend ... they compromise on everything.... (which @ times is not worth) As of now RELIANCE Rulez

even when BSNL came into the mobile business for the 1st time they also faced these issues ... they also faced problems of one number 2 sims..._________________________________________________________________ ppl shud grow up ...its high time .... even vendors are into business ..maybe on a smaller scale... but they are. and in this era of tuff competition everyone needs to be communicated properly.Reliance might have realised tht even these vendor ppl have the potential to spend. and it did click ... in a world when ppl are trying hard to fight racism and dicrimination... our gsm fellows are backing racism & discrimination thts realy sad in a way. It was these other networks tht did not allow to hadshake with RIM.and as far as EMS goes ..almost all phones tht RIM give supports MMS and tht is not charged the way GSM operators charge.... its charged as am sms only.... After all BSNL is BSNL ... its not going to improve ... u may pay for less. ... but @ RIM we pay for the service, pricing , technology ....i dont think BSNL can give all this.My friends tooo bruoght BSNL connections for its cheapness and free sms... but when they truly need it in emergency .. BSNL lets them down .... @least RIM doest ...i tiold you abt my roam expericene with RIM

Well i was in mumbai on the 8th of novemeber 2004. I had taken my postpaid phone (rim phone ofcoz) with me (roaming facility). I have a prepaid rim phone too. i recharged my prepaid phone with the 440/- bucks voucher. now when i was in mumbai , my parents used to call me from tht prepaid phone. and when they use to chceck the balance, they found tht the calls made were FOC (free of cosT). and even when there were no singals (in small stns from ahmedabad to mumbai and some places in mumbai tooo) there was no voice cut at all & i could receive calls too ... Its amazing man ... if i had my gsm phone half of my bills would be just to say hello ...hello..i cant hear you ..your voice is cutting ...plus paying approx 6/min where 1/- for rim (No Jokes I swear) Man RIM rocks !!!! god knows when the rest who abuses realize !!!!!

Hi Pals, I found out from someone in RelianceInfocomm, that in the coming month or two some 28 CDMA mobile phone handsets are coming to the market. These phone wud consists of nokia,lg,samsung, etc...These handsets would be available in the open market in a month or two (just like how we buy gsm handests) Some of these phone(mostly nokia models) wud have a RUIM slot (like the sim card, but will be a little bigger than the gsm cards). We would also have had the choice of selecting the mobile operators (like reliance or tata) Reliance wud be selling its cards for abt (Rs. 250/per card or something like that)

these ppl have no new ideas ... they copy from wht reliance is doing ...

Hi Pals, I saw a advertisment on television of AirTel, the other day , where a guy with his gurl are on a plane flying and all ... then the plane some how crashes and goes it thru the tress.... they (AirTel) shows all mountian scenes and alll ... but i wonder wheather they have such a huge network ... coz i dont think in the mountains, no mobile operators not even reliance or hutch or !dea orany mobile operator has a network... we want mobile operators to make relevant ads and not just show ads to make us feel good about their product and services .... please comment

a step by step commerical of the airtel ad have a peek AirTel why do they say thing like 'one network never lets u down' even when they are not functioning properly in the city limits.

Sanay ...i confirmed ... not all handsets ...but a few nokia handsets are going to be RUIM based .... TaTa & RELIANCE have RuIM cards and those handsets are going to be compatible with them Also LG camera phone thats gonna be introduced would cost Rs 7000/- (and these arent secondhand prices ... )

common man .... they sell technology and services and not beauty or undergarments and stuff like tht ... they shud talk abt the technology that they are going to use to serve their customers and wht all services will the customers receive.. !! For Eg. : Reliance emphasis on fiber optic calbes, cdma technology etc ...

well i the sms in dapo is still free (they had mentioned tht earlier too tht dapo subscribers wil have free sms for 3 yrs ) the r-world has been free .... they only have changed some plans like introduction on budget plans and joy plans .... in tht (joy plans) tooo rim-rim calling is @ 40ps thou only local ... but its b'coz of RIM tht ppl gsm rates have come down ...otherwise we wud still have been paying Rs 2.99/min for local calls and Rs 3.99/min for std ... and also pay for other value added services. ... it takes time for any company to settle properly ... lets give them some time and hope it stays ecomonical ...

yes,i noticed this too ... my friends and releatives are in NZ and whenever they call me/us on our reliance FWP i get a number displayed of a AirTel Caller.... and when they call us on my/ur mobiles 'no name' is listed !!! i keep wondering wht is all this ... but who cares as far as things are afforadable (the govt. & GSM have ****ed us badly in monetary term)
