i tried to replace BL5C with BL6C for my nokia 6270 but very hard to fit inside. my 6235 has a BL6C battery and it does not fit in 6270 :'(

voltage rating is strictly 3.7 volts for most phones and current rating can vary anywhere between 600~1400mAh. Using a higher current battery does not give any problems with the same charger but may take a little more time to get charged than the lower rated battery. By the way which handset are u trying to do this? :'(

You can defenitly use but check whether the higher rated battery will fit inside the phone

I have NOKIA 6270 which is the GSM brother of this phone. Battery hardly lasts for 2 days. Mostly it lasts for 36 hours or so.
