yesterday night at chennai i got constant 12KBPS at night 1 am day time i get around 6 to 8KBPS.signal does not vary and good reception. so i dont think there is a change in rconnect speed according to signal.if the signal is too bad to happen a call drop, it will give bad speed indeed

it always varies according to network load.nothing to do with signal strength. of course we need a healthy signal to keep the connection going

Well that is ok.But what the hell is "silent mode" then if all other sounds other than ringer works?

Well i discovered some new bug in 7130.even if i use silent mode all the game and other sounds still work.how come? and there is no separate game settings to disable sounds.
