Unbricking Vogue / and downgrading SPL -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edited *This will help those that are stuck at the HTC welcome screen and cannot get past it to load IMCokeMan's Unlocker.** Edit by ImCoKeMaN: If you are stuck in bootloader (3 color screen) use titanexitbl or mtty (set 16 0 then task first and try these steps only if that doesn't work. Apparently you can not use SDHC cards with this method, please use the 512mb card that came with your phone. I have successfully unbricked my phone due to updating the Alltel rom to a non Alltel Vogue, before IMCokeman had released his unlocker an also have downgraded to the previous SPL version. I will shortly update this post with the How to instructions. I just need to retrace my steps. I would first like to thank IMCokeMan for his help and unlocker. I currently have a Sprint Vogue but I assume this will work for all versions For those that had loaded the Alltel rom without the unlocker and have bricked there phone try this procedure to unbrick your phone. 1. First download IMCokeMaN's 2.31 Unlocker. http://rapidshare.com/files/11019074...r_MFG_2.31.exe 2. Extract IMCokeMan's unlocker Previous SPL version was 2.31 current SPL version is 0.36 Edit by ImCoKeMaN: Note: Steps 3, 4 and 5 should not be necessary, but step 6 is critical that it is a signed rom from your carrier 3. Navigate to the extracted folder and within the folder you will find the following file called VOGUIMAG2.nbh and rename it to VOGUIMG.nbh 4. Copy the file to a fat32 memory card, and insert it back into your phone, and place it into bootloader mode. 5. The phone should display Loading... let it sit there for a minute or so. It will not go past this screen, now reboot the phone. 6. Extract your official rom using WINRAR by right click and extract files (Must be a signed EXE from your carrier get it from HTC support website) 7. Navigate to the extracted folder and within the folder you will find the files 8. Copy the files to your memory card (less than 2gb and formated fat32) and insert it back into the phone and place it back into bootloader mode(POWER+CAMERA+RESET USING STYLUS), and install the your Carrier's Official ROM. Hello I am having a HTC Vogue(P3050) from Canada.I got it from Telus.i used the method on internet and unlocked the HTC. I also got the reliance welcome on calling *228 and when i transferred my mobile on this HTC i also got the message on dialing *228 that "This phone is already activated on reliance and your mobile number is ########## " but when i try to call from my mobile then it says that to resume service please contact reliance customer care. i have changed the ESN from a LGRD2030 of reliance and it was blank but still i get the error so can u please help me as soon as possible i also changed the ESN of the OLD LGRD2030 from which i transferred the ESN so please reply and help me

I got a procedure to unlock HTCP3050 but in last steps it's asking to flash new rom so how to create a customized rom for HTC P3050 that works on reliance

I have got a HTC TOUCH unlocking procedure but it's from Sprint and i hav got Telus HTC Touch P3050 so can anyone tell me that it will work on my mobile here is the procedure: I did this for my Sprint Touch. I am still using it in the USA but my phone has been modified to support other carriers with no problem. The steps are simple: Here is what you need to do: 1. Download GetSPC(attached below) 2. Unzip to desktop 3. Turn off phone and remove battery. 4. Write down your HEX ESN 5. Power your device back on 6. Connect via ActiveSync or WMDC 7. Copy entire folder to main memory on device. 8. Run GetSPC.exe 9. In the top box type in your HEX ESN(make sure caps is on) 10. Click generate or whatever the button is named 11. The resulting number should be a 6 digit number, your MSL, write it down. 12. Search for, download and install Qualcomm's QPST tool.(not freeware) THE FOLLOWING STEPS ARE VERY DANGEROUS SO MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW MY DIRECTIONS EXACTLY. 13. Run QPST Configuration(run as admin if Vista) 14. From the Dialpad, dial ##3424#(##diag#) 15. Connect device to computer via USB(this will install drivers) 16. In QPST Configuration, click ports. 17. Continue to add ports until the QPST Configuration detects your phone 18. Under active phones it should display your phone. 19. Click Start Clients/Service Programming 20. Select phone and click ok. DO NOT LEAVE FIRST TAB, THE SETTINGS TAB. THIS IS THE ONLY TAB WE WILL NEED TO CHANGE ANY SETTINGS 21. Under the settings tab, click Read from phone. 22. Input your MSL you got from GetSPC earlier. 23. Under codes where it says Service Programming, change this to 000000 24. Click Write to Phone 25. Wait 1 minute 26. Close Qualcomm QPST one window at a time. 27. Disconnect the USB cable from your device 28. Perform Soft reset once 29. Test new MSL(##000000#) 30. If new code does not go through, hard reset. 31. Depending on what device you have, follow the necessary steps to unlock your phone so you can flash a new ROM to it. 32. Install OEM ROM from carrier of choice or build your own custom ROM using the new carrier's information. 33. Follow instructions to flash new OS to device. 34. Call service provider and do some sweet talking to get them to activate the phone on their network. You may need to do some serious sweet talking because Sprint ESNs are not in Verizon's database and vice versa. This goes for all CDMA carriers. Good luck.
