hey guys chk this out:- When u upload a game from R-World, it gets saved in "ams" folder (so that we don't have to upload it again) having 2 files with extension .jar & .jad. So is it possible to upload java mobile games since they have the same extension??? Man wouldn't it be gr8 if that works out. i'm having some java games n i'm psting 1 here. plz let me know if that works out. i'm a little scared doing it myself coz if something goes wrong n i screw up my phone i'll have to goto service centre n i had been there just 3 days back so i guess this time he's not gonna entertain me. 3D_Adventure.zip

there must be a problem with ur operating computer (junk piled up). So do a fresh installation (orignal copy not pirated ). Pref install win nt or winxp coz it has a better usb support that win98. -
now the external antenna that i've recieved with my fixed BSNL LG WLL phone reads as"FACE PANEL ANTENNA" manufactured by "KAVERI TELECOMS LTD, BANGALORE". i'm sure it must be commercially available.

hey B O R E D, i exactly don't know what its called, but try asking for an external antenna for WLL phones. Better try some telecom shops. i suppose it must be coming bundled even with reliance fixed WLL sets coz these r usually used inside the buildings. Try RWW. but me just figured out that the socket doesn't match. so maybe u've got to solder a compatible 1. Anyways try it out n let us know.

hey B O R E D, that provision is only to car antenna. also using an external antenna will eat up ur battery n may ruin ur mobile. btw i just got a fixed bsnl wll phone (LG Make). they have provided it with a external booster, a huge 10"x25" black box to be connected to the phone. man it very much improves the signal, from 2 dandas to 5 dandas !!!! . its also available in the market easily(atleast in B'lore) try that n let us know.

i dont think so, coz these r built in the rom programmed at the factory itself. If u really wanna get rid of it u got to put in a new rom n thats the craziest thing to do.

yup, now the thing is to find where exactly the path is stored for running the game, n accordingly editing that may help in uploading personal games.

hey there's a small lid at the bottom back of the phone n i guess u can connect the cable (as in nokia 3210). Now the trouble is to get a cable!!! coz motorola isnt having a modem so no cable's available.

hey guys whats up yaar. me having a USB cable n its the easiest to use as far as adding rtones n wallpapers is concerned. I would recommend using winxp but win98 bhi chalega. Just follow the following instructions. 1. read the adding wall paper n rtone tutorial on this forum. 2. now connect ur phone n load bitpim 3. goto file system n retrive the data. 4. initially it will give an error. click "ok" n try refresh (rt. click on the - sign) 5. now bitpim will read ur phone's filesystem. if not try refreshing till it reads it. Hey do let me know if that woks (i'm sure it'll)
