Whether you have EVDO Rev A, B, C, D or Z because of the inherent limitations of wireless technologies where a particular tower can serve only a limited number of customers at the same time, there is not going to be a revolutionary change in real life sustained, reliable speeds. It's all good on paper but the situation is further complicated due to very little spectrum available with MTS. Even LTE speeds in US is hovering between 5-10 Mbps realistically for an average consumer and that's very optimistic to say the least.

    Use a good firewall software. Windows built in is not sufficient. Should configure router firewall if any. Also check whether Utorrent is using port 63507 on your PC because all remote acess is on that port in your image. If not, then it should be considered intrusion.

    You don't need to root the phone only for installing Ngpay. As HTC Droid Incredible is a phone originally registered as an american carrier phone in Android Market, it sometimes shows such error when you try to install some India specific Apps particularly mobile banking, shopping related. Download the apk file for Ngpay from this post >> http://www.rimweb.in...post__p__223988 copy on phone memory card and install from there. It should work now.

  12. @Notam & FEVIN-RAJ I also called up Sony India and asked the same question. The policy is that they will honour the warranty if the product has Sony India's Official Warranty Card stamped by the seller and the product has come from Sony India's official distribution channels. I was told that there is nothing like a blanket ban on warranty for products purchased online. Of course they won't honour warranty for grey market direct imports from Thailand and other countries like lot of Sony TV's sold on Ebay India and in Delhi Markets. Anyone buying any Sony product from Letsbuy or any other online source should confirm before hand that it is through Sony India Official Channels and contains Warranty Card for India.

For some items, Letsbuy has even option of buying extended warranty of 1-2 years once the manufacturer warranty is over. Obviously Croma guy does not want to let go a customer. He may not be able to compete on price, so such rumours are standard marketing tactics employed.

    ^ ^ ^ Try this: In powered down state, remove battery first, then remove micro SD card. Wait 2-3 minutes. Now put micro SD card first, then battery and plug the phone for charging. Don't power on immediately. Do it after about 10-15 minutes.

One more interesting thing i noted is that yesterday the same ebay seller was mentioning 5 year warranty, today, he is mentioning 1 year ,Whereas Transcend website mentions following for warranty.
