Basic problem you face is that you are never sure what exactly you want in a "Handset"? Do you want it to make you a cup of coffee, buy cheaper petrol or be your "girl friend"? OR Do You want Isaac Newton's Brain, Marilyn Monroe's Beauty, Ferrari's Speed, Toyota's Reliability at a Chinese Price ? Unfortunately both the above ain't gonna happen anytime soon.. You have already used Samsung Epic in CDMA, iPhone 4 in GSM and now looking for a 15K Budget phone for you in GSM.. Do you seriously think any Desire/Defy are ever going to satisfy you? I don't think so.. It will be a futile exercise and you will be here again in less than a month.. An alternative course of action for you.. Instead of buying a 15K handset now, buy any good handset below 10K or better buy the cheapest one for the moment.. Use it for approx 2 Month... In July, HTC EVO 3D GSM Version is coming... Buy it then.. That will satisfy the urge for something "New/Best/Perfect" for quite a long period..

Finally showed him the Handset Offer Page of RComm Website where this was listed... After 10 minutes of effort, he unwillingly found out the info from their system.. Reliance is selling LG Optimus 2X at Rs 25,990.. That is MRP.. They expect you to bind yourself for 24 months with no handset discount at all... That too with GSM.. I am still scratching my head to find any "logic" in this offer... What really is benefit/motivation for the customer? Why he won't buy an unlocked handset at a lesser price from outside and mix & match his plans as per his need? But when did you last hear "logic" from RComm?

Agree 100% with Dhirajbhai, for your room size & viewing distance, 32" is the minimum size you should go for. If spending 15k for 24" may as well spend 3-4k more. Worth it. Even though Tradus deal is expired, you may get that Toshiba 32AV800 for 19k somewhere in retail. Check Vijay Sales. Toshiba also has another 32" model , PB1E, which is from the latest series and should be around 20.5K. Also check AOC TV's in Vijay Sales. It's a good brand. @ani_meher Full HD is good if, -Most content viewed will be HD like 720p/1080p rips/Blue Ray/HD Television Channel -If you need to seat bang in front of TV at 1-2 Feet Distance, Full HD gives better resolution where human eye can perceive the difference (Only for HD Sources though) SD Sources like normal tv channels/Non HD Set Top Box/DTH will be worse in Full HD TV compared to non HD/normal tv. PMPO is a marketing gimmick, not the correct measurement of sound. "RMS" is & that's just 20 Watt even in your Samsung. However hard the companies try, there is no a way an "LCD" TV can give sound beyond a level because of tiny space available for speakers. Laws of sound engineering haven't been overcome yet. USB Movie connectivity can't be the differentiator for purchase decision. If such use is there, one can always use PC/Separate Media/DVD Players. Some people like Sony's Bravia Color/Picture Management Engine more than other competitors + The Sony Brand name itched in "Memory". At Hardware level there should not be a great difference between Sony/Samsung atleast not in such entry level models. If i remember correctly, not too long ago, Samsung entered into a deal with Sony to supply it LCD panels.. What's your "Room Size" & "Viewing Distance" ? Why i am asking because 22" feels too small even for small rooms.
