MTS India has rolled out its MBlaze Mobile Broadband – EVDO Data Services in Lucknow, Allahabad, Kanpur, Dehradun, Aligarh, Agra, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Moradabad and Varanasi.   10. The possible reason for most people who faced problem with 8GB Verbatim Micro SD Card is the way it is packaged & how most will unpack it... Strontium & others are packaged in such a way that when you cut the plastic at the top, it opens & card slids out easily whereas for Verbatim the opening is not like that. You need to cut the pack precisely. What i have noticed is that people cut some portion & then try to tear the paper box packing with hand or tear the box directly with hand (Because it is not plastic but thick paper). Now the Card is in such a position that by doing so & not taking proper care, chance of exerting good amount of pressure, bending on the card and in the process damaging it will be there. I see no other technical reason for all those people whose verbatim card did not work out of the box... Just recollect how you opened it?

    ^ Never happenned that way... Delhi is the pampered baby always...In last 10 years, this is the probably the first time i have seen MTNL-Mumbai introducing a better plan before Delhi... And what about this, -Petrol at 58 in Delhi instead of 65 in Mumbai.. -Cars that are cheaper by 5-10%... -Mumbai 40% + of Income Tax but Delhi gets Metro 3 years back Any Mumbaikar to make the list longer? Lolz...

Source Breaking news has it that Nvidia has agreed to acquire Icera, a leading manufacturer of baseband processors for 3G and 4G mobile phones and tablets. Nvidia has paid $367 million in cash and the deal will be finalized in the next 30 days. The market for baseband processors is one of the fastest growing segments in the industry with an estimated worth of $15 billion a year and by acquiring Icera, Nvidia have positioned itself as a leading player in the mobile segment. For those of you who haven't heard of Icera, we don't blame you. The company is responsible for manufacturing the high speed wireless modems that are used in every phone. Also known as the baseband processor, this chip is the reason we are able to make phone calls and connect to the internet through Edge, 3G and even LTE (4G). Icera's baseband processors are used by all major smartphone manufacturers which puts Nvidia in a unique position in the cellular rat race. So far, Nvidia's role in the mobile segment hasn't got off to a great start with its Tegra 2 processor only found in the upcoming LG Optimus 2x and Motorola s Atrix 4G. Things are about to change now for the better for the green team as their acquisition may help them almost double their revenue through each device. All this leaves us with a lingering thought, can we expect an Nvidia branded reference phone in the future? Just like how the Nexus One and S are reference phones for Google, Nvidia could very well put together a reference phone of their own with the help of Samsung or some other OEM. What i have heard is that you need to give Credit Card Numbers for pre authorisation... They don't charge on the card for free trial.. but at the end of trial period if you are not careful & don't cancel the subscription... they will auto renew & charge your Credit Card then..

    Nokia Developing Advanced 3D Mobile - 2 Displays & Auto Tracking User's Eye Level Source This will be world's first auto-stereoscopic vision based 3D smartphone, will incorporate two different displays that project a 3D image with the help of a camera that monitors the user's eye level for more accurate 3D projection. With the world head over heels over the two 3D capable phones revealed by HTC and LG, Finnish handset maker Nokia, too, is reportedly making a dual screen 3D mobile phone. The device, which would be the world's first auto-stereoscopic vision based 3D smartphone, will incorporate two different displays that project a three dimensional image with the help of a camera that monitors the user's eye level for more accurate 3D projection. Since the images change according to the user's position, he needs to stay still to view 3D, which is the biggest problem with existing glasses-free 3D displays. The patent of the auto-stereoscopic vision, which has been bagged by Nokia, describes the technology as "an apparatus comprising a sensor configured to detect the position and orientation of a user viewpoint with respect to an auto-stereoscopic display; a processor configured to determine a surface viewable from the user viewpoint of at least one three dimensional object; and an image generator configured to generate a left and right eye image for display on the auto-stereoscopic display dependent on the surface viewable from the user viewpoint." Meanwhile, Nokia has patented a new touch technology that comprises a pressure sensor that can measure the depth of touch as well. By using these two technologies together, a new level of realism in augmented reality can be achieved. Moreover, with a 3D touch interface, better and more realistic interaction can also be achieved. Considering the present scenario it is expected that the new device will be based on the Windows operating system and is likely to feature Intel's latest 3D oriented processor based on tri-gate transistor architecture. LG Optimus 3D and HTC Evo 3D are two other such phones that are based on Android operating system. While Evo 3D is expected to be launched in the second quarter of this year, Optimus may hit stores around the world by June.
