I also fail to understand how can induction be lower then LPG in running costs when per unit rate of electricity is howering nearly at Rs 7 and above with induction power consumption in the range of 1800 Watt plus. It can never be a full replacement of LPG. At the most, it's additional convenience for only some items of coocking. I guess it can't handle many traditional indian coocking items. Plus you need specific coockware (particularly flat bottoms) so there is no heat energy loss. Piped gas is cheapest, then LPG cylinder. Anyhow yesterday it's already decided in a ministerial meeting that subsidised LPG cylinder limit is going to be increased from 6 to 9 per year. Expected to be announced soon.

Next day onwards, started receiving phone call from the number 01401753863 everyday precisely at 6.03 p.m. For 2-3 days did not pick up the call assuming it to be a pesky marketing call. On 4th day picked up the call, just said Hello, call disconnected automatically and bamm.... Instantly received the following SMS... Dear Customer, You are now subscribed to Hindi Adult Joke Service at Rs 30 for 30 days. Thank You. Have complained on 198. I was told it will credited back in 4 Hours. Nothing Happenned. Again Called. This time was told will be credited in 30 minutes. Still Nothing. Will Wait and then take it up forward to Nodal, PGP etc. Why this Kolaveri Di for just Rs 30. Because it's not merely a question of Rs 30. Basically it's Plain Theft. Imagine a scenario when you are walking on the road and someone snatches your pocket. Quick Review: Google Search App on iOS is a Siri killer Source Google today released a revamped search app for iOS that brings an advanced voice search feature that also talks back, much like Siri. Google already had the feature on Android and it works flawlessly. Users can search for images, videos, weather, points of interest, flight status and much more. I have been using the app for the past couple of hours and I find it more useful than Siri. Read on for my first impressions. On installing the app, it automatically set my voice input to Indian English, which does not support voice feedback. However, that was rectified by changing it to US English from the settings menu. However, the accuracy takes a slight hit as Google’s voice recognition is almost flawless for Indian accents when it is set to the Indian English. The app is much faster than Siri. For the sake of comparison, I’d say the difference in speed is akin to a Formula 1 car and a Tata Nano – Google is light years ahead in this space. The accuracy, like I mentioned earlier, is also much higher on Google search than on Siri. I doubt it is a coincidence, but Google has launched the app on the same day Apple announced Scott Forstall, the senior executive responsible for Siri, would be leaving the company. This app is what Siri should have been on day one. One of the features I really like is the ability to play YouTube videos within the app. So I could say the name of any video and it plays it right there even if the YouTube app is not downloaded on the device. I could also sign in to my Google account but I was not able to add new entries into my calendar or even view the calendar by using a voice command. I hope there is a way to do that and I will update this post in case I’m able to find it. Of course, it is nowhere close to the Google Now service on Android but it is still good enough to replace Siri for me. And the best thing is it works even on the iPhone 4, which did not get Siri even after the iOS 6 update. I have placed Google search app on the dock for easy access and I’m pretty confident even you will end up doing the same if you give it a spin. Good news for GSM users as LG has already confirmed it's bringing this to india by November end. (An LG Senior india official confirmed that even before official launch). Will have to see if it's priced just as good as the Play Store pricing. Bad news for CDMA users is that google is not making any LTE version and has ruled out (Atleast for now) US CDMA carrier versions either on Sprint/Verizon. So goodbye to any hope of us CDMA users to get this beauty on Reliance.
