That confidence may be misplaced. raison d'etre for the supreme court cancelling all licenses was the principle of allocating scarce natural resources by auction when they are used for private profit. It did not go into the question whether a particular operator got the license in past allocation genuinely without any quid pro quo. I really don't think Supreme Court will now allow MTS petition on innocence count as that can open up a Pandora's Box. In the indian context, tablets really are not media consumption devices as they are in US & elsewhere. With no music/books purchase, netflix/streaming et all, they are just larger screen smartphones without voice on most models.
