  2. Must Have Android Apps For Your Smartphone - Part II

^^^ @KumaarShah It will not become faster but may allow apps which may not run because your available RAM is falling short then what the app requires. Have you ever received any error message for any app which can't run because of unavailable/low memory? Because this app will create & run through a swap file on SD Card, it will be actually slower then your flash RAM. And much slower if the SD Card is also lower speed class. Android has good inbuilt memory management capability where it knows when to kill the unused app residing in memory and make space for another one needing the RAM. First you should test whether your phone/kernel is compatible with the app by installing & running this another app >> https://play.google....oehsoft.meminfo Root will be necessary & this comprehensive guide for rooting most sony models should help >> http://talk.sonymobi...om/thread/41119
  3. HTC J Butterfly - 5", Full HD, SLCD 3, 440 ppi

Blurrycam Shots Leak Of Verizon HTC DLX, Sporting 5" 1080p Display, Quad-Core CPU, And 2GB Of RAM Source Last week, HTC announced the J Butterfly, a 5" phone with a monster 1080p display (that's 440ppi) mated to a quad-core CPU and 2 GB of RAM. The announcement made it pretty clear that the J Butterfly wasn't coming to the US, but similar devices certainly weren't out of the question. Now, we're seeing blurrycam photos of what's claimed to be Verizon's variant, dubbed the DLX ("Deluxe"). Sure enough, it's apparently packing similar specs: the same 5" 1080p display, a quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 8MP rear shooter and 2MP front. Otherwise, the source of the shots reports a 2,500 mAh battery, centered power button on the top, and capacitive touch buttons. It's also running Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) and Sense 4+, along with Beats Audio. Physically, the device looks a lot like the One X(+) in that it's a solid polycarbonate shell. The photos don't entirely match up the specs tweeted out by leaker @Football4PDA - he provided a specific CPU, less RAM, and a higher-MP camera. As always, that's exactly why you should take these photos (and Football's specs) with a giant grain of salt - something especially relevant given the recent spate of hoaxes.

  7. How To Bypass Country Restriction And Install Any India Region Locked App From Android Market On Your Imported CDMA Handset This is a problem faced by all imported CDMA handsets we are using in india. It's normally not possible to search, download and install apps from the google play store which are locked as india region specific. Examples are netbanking apps from indian banks and many other apps. Let's cure it. Requirement: Your handset needs to be rooted. Procedure: Download and install Android Market Enabler App attached with this post. Open the app, Tap on Set Custom Button. Erase the existing number appearing in gsm.sim.operator.numeric. box. Input any Indian GSM Operator MCC-MNC Code from the list given here. >> http://mcc-mnc-india.blogspot.in/ I choose Vodafone Mumbai Circle. Enter the code without any comma, character in between. For example, enter 40420 for Vodafone Mumbai. Tap set to this values. Allow Superuser access when asked. Done. Now you can search and install any india region locked app from google play market. Problems & Solution: If it's still not working, ensure that Google Play Store App is not open OR running in the background. Close it / OR Force close and relaunch. Version attached here does not work for set for fake GSM Operator on boot. It will work only till you don't reboot the phone. If the phone is rebooted, repeat the above procedure. If the above procedure is not working in Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich ROM's, refer this post for solution >> http://www.rimweb.in..._15#entry271971 com.vicono.AndroidMarketEnabler-1.apk
  8. Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100

Wait! 4 Nexus devices are coming from LG, Samsung, HTC & Sony. Announcement is expected on Google's 29th October Android Event.
  9. Discounted/Free apps on Market/Play Store

Soon, Buy Android Apps From Google Play in Indian Rupees (INR) Source Google has announced that it is introducing buyer’s currencies in India. All the paid apps sold in India will now carry prices in Indian Rupee (INR). Developers have until October 25, to set their paid app prices in INR, after that Google will automatically assign INR prices for paid apps every month based on the listing prices. What does this mean for normal Android users? Until now, in the absence of buyer’s currencies for India, Android users in the country were charged in the app developers’ currency while making a purchase from Google Play. Google used to show app priced in INR to give an idea about how much they are going to be charged on their credit card, but the final purchase was in app devs’ currency only. But, that is going to change from October 25, starting then, any purchase that you will be making from Google Play will charged in Indian rupees on your credit card. Not only this saves you from any foreign exchange conversion charges from your credit card provider and is also easier to keep track of. This will also likely to result in Indian related app promotions as devs will now have opportunity to set prices specifically for India. What does this mean for App developers? App developers will now be allowed to set prices for the Indian market in INR in Google Play dev console. This gives you the opportunity to set prices according to the market and also saves from any currency value fluctuations as you will now have a fixed price set for the Indian market. App developers have until October 25 to go to Google Play Developer Console and set prices for India, in case you are unable to do that, Google will automatically set the prices for you, based on the current listing price of your paid app and the prevailing exchange rate. These automated prices are changed every month to reflect the changed in currency conversion rate. We think the now that Google has enabled buyer’s currencies for India; it will also soon allow Indian app developers to sell paid apps in Google Play. We are waiting for that to happen and will let you know as and when it happens. Along with India, Google has also enabled buyer’s currencies in Russia. So the same thing applies to Russian users as well.

  18. From where did you get the idea that there is a minimum base plan requirement?
  19. The plan was activated in 2 days instead of next billing cycle as told by the CC. Is there life elsewhere then on earth and how Reliance will react are two questions for which no one has a clear answer since ages.
