Experts any advise on the above. Excess me for reposting again. It's selling for approx US $ 1080 on Ebay.Com and around Rs 76,000 in india Online. If you consider Customs+Shipping, buying abroad may turn out same/costlier then price in india. So unless you're getting it very cheap abroad without paying customs, it does not make sense to get it from US without warranty. High Value DSLR camera's have a small market in india and i haven't seen many great promos during festival time but no harm in waiting. You can try one of the many camera shops on DN Road in VT where you may get good price discount on Canon MRP of Rs 79,995.- 6,376 replies

Samsung has officially reduced MRP of Galaxy S3 from Rs 38,900 to Rs 34,900 in India. So normal street/online price should NOW be in the range of Rs 32.5-33.5K.

Aircel, Airtel Won’t Sell iPhone 5 in India As Apple Takes Over Control Source Apple’s Indian carrier partners Aircel and Airtel won’t sell the iPhone 5 in India this year. Instead, Apple will take over the distribution process for the iPhone 5 as well as the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4, multiple sources have confirmed to BGR India. Apple India has appointed Ingram Micro and Redington for distributing iPhones and has already ramped up its sales team to prepare for the iPhone 5 launch. However, multiple carriers, including Aircel and Airtel, will be offering special tariff plans for the iPhone 5. BGR India earlier exclusively reported details of carriers placing orders for Nano SIMs that the iPhone 5 uses. Users who buy the iPhone 5 will be required to swap their existing SIM card to a Nano SIM from their carrier. The Nano SIM card package will also include adapters to convert it to a Micro SIM or a regular SIM to ensure the user is able to use it with other phones too. Carriers don’t want to miss out on the iPhone 5 as it is used mostly by high value subscribers. Considering Aircel and Airtel are no longer the preferred partners, it will be a level playing field for multiple carriers.

*229+HCC Card 9 Digit Number needs to be dialled FIRST from the phone from which the number is to be transferred which in this case is Nokia 2112 with R-UIM. Then *228 is to be dialled from Epic Touch on which the above number needs to be transferred. -
uRead.com It's turning out to be a good option for ordering books online in india. Had a pleasant experience. Nice collection, prices generally cheaper with good discounts even on new titles, clean interface/account management. Received shipment through AFL Wiz in 2 days flat. COD was available even with discount coupon.

Apple iPhone 5 to be available in separate GSM and CDMA versions Source Apple's just announced iPhone 5 will be available in two separate models when it hits shelves on September 21st. According to the official specs page from Apple, there will be separate CDMA and GSM versions of the phone, a break from the iPhone 4S which packed both wireless protocols into the same chassis. The A1428 GSM model and A1429 CDMA model both support LTE, HSPA+, and DC-HSPA, but they do so on different bands for the various carriers that the iPhone 5 will be available on. Apple also lists a second A1429 model with support for more GSM bands than the A1428 version. Based on the specs provided by Apple, the A1428 will be carried by AT&T and Canadian operators (with support for LTE on bands 4 and 17), while the A1429 will be available from Sprint and Verizon in the US and KDDI in Japan (with LTE on bands 1, 3, 5, 13, and 25). The GSM A1429 supports LTE on bands 1, 3, and 5 and will likely be offered in global markets such as the UK, Germany, Australia, Korea, and Japan. The last time Apple had to split the iPhone into two separate models was when the CDMA version of the iPhone 4 was originally announced in February, 2011. As mentioned, the iPhone 4S used a baseband chip that was able to support both CDMA and GSM radios in one unit. The separation for the iPhone 5 doesn't come as a huge surprise, though, since Apple had to release separate versions of the new iPad with LTE support for AT&T and Verizon. If there is one thing that we can take away from this, it's that it will not be easy to transfer an iPhone 5 from one carrier to another. The A1428 model for AT&T will never work on Verizon or Sprint's networks, and the A1429 won't be compatible with AT&T's. Additionally, should you get an AT&T model, it likely won't work with LTE networks in other parts of the world. EDIT: CDMA Model A1429 for Sprint & Verizon seems to be global model supporting both CDMA & GSM.

Problem with the change in screen size to 4" and resolution of 1136 x 640 will be that native apple software will take advantage of full display size whereas third party apps will be displayed at their previous old resolution with black bars on either side for padding till they are updated.

Try this after zeroing out proxy settings for youtube issue.. Open Dial Pad, Type *#*#4636#*#* Tap Phone Information Scroll last. There is an option saying Toggle DNS check. It should say 0.0.0.0 not allowed. Tap on it. Now it will say 0.0.0.0 allowed This setting may again get lost upon phone reboot.

Dual SIM Dual Standby Samsung Galaxy Note II In The Works For China Source Galaxy Note II for the rest of the world was announced a week ago in Berlin. But for China, Samsung has a special version of the second generation Note, with dual-SIM dual standby support. As you can see in the picture above, this Galaxy Note 2 has 3 card slots. One for microSD card, one for normal SIM and one for microSIM. Other specs of the device remain the same – 1.6 GHz Exynos 4412 quad-core CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 5.5” 720x1280px display, S-Pen, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and other goodies. This dual-SIM Galaxy Note 2 seems to be headed for China Unicom, though it is still not clear when will it get there and how much will it cost.
