    Beetel Launches Magiq Glide Android Tablet in India Source Beetel has launched its third Android tablet in the Indian market today. Dubbed as Magiq Glide, it has all the same features as the original Magiq apart from the display which has been upgraded to capacitive from resistive. Other features of Beetel Magiq Glide remain same – 7 inch display, Android 2.2, 1GHz processor, 3G connectivity, WiFi, 2MP rear and front cameras, 2200mAh battery and 8GB internal memory with microSD card support upto 16GB. Considering the display upgrade, company has raised the price to INR 11,999. Magiq Glide will join Magiq II in the market, which is retailing for INR 9,700. It will be available in the market shortly.

    Micromax Launches Dual-SIM A75 Android, Calls it Superfone Lite Source Micromax is trying very hard for consumers to call its phones as Superphones. Taking forward its Superfone lineup, Micromax has announced the launch of Superfone Lite today. Also known as A75, it features 3.75 inch capacitive display and 650 MHz processor. Micromax has priced A75 at INR 8,999, it will be available in the market sometime this week. Flipkart has already started taking the orders for the phone with expected shipment in 5-7 days. Talking about other features, Superfone Lite supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) and comes with Android 2.3, 3MP rear camera, 0.3MP front shooter, 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth etc.

    @Hari EVO 3D rooting and custom ROMS is a totally different ballgame due to locked bootloader. Not anything like Epic and general instructions listed above. Be very cautious and know everything that matters before doing anything.

The company examined more than 2 million tweets that mentioned the iPhone 4S, looking for strong opinions one way or the other as well as more nuanced, neutral reactions. The result? Not quite as positive as Apple might wish. Some 37% of the tweets were generally favorable, 29% were negative, and 34% were neutral. More worryingly, the percentage of negative responses to the device is growing. Perhaps the most troubling news for Apple is that the battery problem with the iPhone 4S, supposedly solved by an iOS 5 update, does not appear to be going away. Some 11% of the tweets examined mentioned an issue with the battery draining faster than expected. When Crimson Hexagon did an earlier analysis of iPhone 4S tweets, in mid-November, just 7% had a negative impression of the phone’s battery.

Apple loses preliminary injunction against Motorola in Germany; iPhone, iPad ban likely Source After its defeat to Samsung in Australia, it looks like the going will get only tougher for Cupertino-based company, Apple. A post on Foss Patents by Florian Mueller confirms that Apple has lost to Motorola Mobility Inc. in Germany, where the latter had filed a prelimnary injunction against them for having allegedly infringed on their patents, pertaining to cellular communications. In its verdict, the Mannheim Regional Court, Germany stated that Motorola winning this preliminary injunction would have dire implications on Apple's future in the country. Simply put, the court directed Apple Sales International, Cork, Ireland-based, European sales subsidiary of Apple to avoid the sale of all Apple products, i.e. iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad 3G and iPad2 3G, et al in Germany that infringe on Motorola's patents. Apple now, reportedly plans to appeal to the court ruling, at the earliest. The post further states that, "Apple could modify its products by removing the patented feature so as to steer clear of further infringement. It remains to be seen whether this is a commercially viable option for Apple. This feature could be somewhat fundamental to wireless data transfers in general." Meanwhile, Motorola Mobility will have to cough up 100 million euros, roughly $135 million as bond to put the injunction to practice.

    I too like the moon to rise in day.. How convenient it will be? So much heat here in Mumbai even in winter.. But that's wish not reality.. Like how does one access the system folder for removing apps without root / admin access? It goes against the basic principle of Linux on which Android is based and is not possible AFAIK. Do share the secret for everyone if you ever found out something which google does not know.

  19. Toshiba in some regards can be equated with Toyota. Mostly conventional but convincing and assured. Their models may not look visually very stunning and draw second glances but they are built with good quality components, designed well technically, works well for long time without complaining, full value for every paisa spent and mostly a hassle free, enjoyable ownership experience. For how many brands we can say the above with conviction and confidence? Toshiba is among the few in that category for most of it's products. And i am saying the above after following this principle, "Pehle Istemal Kare Phir Vishwas Kare".. I used it, Watch it..

Adding fuel to these rumours, a report by SmartHouse states that anonymous sources have informed them that a major company is apparently working on the production of HDTVs in three sizes ranging from 32-inches to 55-inches. The same sources went on to say that these TVs would feature an A6 processor, which are possibly the same ones that maybe used on the next generation iPads. Previous reports of this television indicate that the upcoming TV from Apple would be Siri-enabled keeping with Steve Jobs's statement in the biography written by Walter Isaacson where he says that he’d like to create a television that is completely easy to use and could be easily synced with other devices along with iCloud. According to a related report by the Business Insider, Gene Munster has estimated that the said television would be quite pricey and stated that if a television costs USD 800, an Apple television would be priced twice as much at USD 1,600. AS of now, we have to just wait and see how these rumours pan out come end of 2012.
