Thats what i thought at first. But from long time i've been reading in news papers complains of Authorized Service Centers. Having left with no other choice i guess i gotta visit ASC as a last resort. By the way anybody here knows formatting code for Nokia 6275? Wanna try it first before taking the risk of visiting ASC.

Hi Guys, My My Nokia6275 won't play videos. Though it reads the file and show the 3gp video file as picture icon and ready to play. As soon as i click play half a second of movie is being played and then error.. "unable to open..." This is happening with the videos which is converted by Nokia PC suit itself. Thanks a lot! YouTube downloader worked for me!! I think there is a problem in your phone software. Please get it reinstalled to your mobile by going to your nearest Nokia care center. Else you can try one more option. Please change the file name as 3g2 instead of 3gp ie., filename.3g2 instead of filename.3gp and they try playing videos again. Also, probably if you have any doubt in Nokia PC Suite, please download youtube downloader from google and then try converting your videos with youtube downloader and play it in your mobile. Note that, you must set appropriate video options before converting, as setting higher resolution for conversion also causes this problem. --Mohu

Nothing perfect!! regardless of brand. Wantedly they leave such flaws... looks like they don't want users to be satisfied and stick one handset for long.

But to my surprise Nokia 6275 User's manual talks about call recording in Nokia 6275. While describing the procedure for call recording it even says while the call is being recorded callers on both ends hears beep sound every two minutes. I don't know how far it works!! Can you guys give a shot once and see how far it is true? -Hussain

Hi there, My NOKIA 2112 is suffering from signal problem. When ever i want to make call as soon as i press "Call" button after "Calling...." for long time then the message it gives "Call Failed". I get the message "call dropped" while i'm on call or sometimes "signal faded call was lost". This problem is round the clock and in all the areas of my city Hyderabad. Once i tried my SIM card through other Reliance phones to my surprise it is working fine... Although my Handset is not damaged neither it has any hardware problem. Could any body of us help me with the CDMA settings for NOKIA 2112? Basically i'm looking for codes for something called Primary CDMA Channel A = ? Secondary CDMA Channel A = ? Primary CDMA Channel B = ? Secondary CDMA Channel B = ? These are three digit codes.... If somebody has got someother suggestions you are most welcome to suggest... but please help me out!! I don't want to go out of CDMA community.

Hey Guys, Please help me with exporting the contacts of my Nokia 6275 to PC. Though i've been using PC suit all the time to backup my phone. The main problem with it is when i import the contacts (stored in phone memory) it gives only contact number and additional information stored on each contact if any but the main thing is the Contact name which is missing. The exported file format is .txt. Though we can export it in one more file format which could be opened using Microsoft Excel, i don't remeber this format now but same problem with it too.... Contact Name is always missing. I don't know if it is the problem with PC suit software or wht... Advise please Second thing is could any of you guys help me getting good mp3 player for my Nokia6275 which would let me fwd or take back for few seconds while the track is playing as we have WinAmp for our DeskTop PCs. Scanning using PC AntiVirus is a good idea me too do the same but it won't protect the virus getting transmitted while sharing data through bluetooth or any medium of connectivity. We require all time enabled on Guard AnitVirus in order to make sure you can make safe sharing / connecitivity wiht others.

I'm still in the process to get it done... will let you know as soon as i'm done with it.

Dear Shay, I bought Nokia 6275 almost 2 weeks ago from a multi brand mobile shoppe in Hyderabad. It costed me Rs.9200/- while reliance customer care people quoted Rs.9400/- @ webworld. Not sure how much will it cost you at your place. As for choice of handset me too wondered a lot and sought lot of suggestions and browzed through lots of user manuals of several models of different different companies but finally i concluded Nokia 6275 is the best choice i made. No doubt i find that Nokia is going low in terms of quality day by day still i would recommend you Nokia6275 only as it is a feature rich handset. Another one is Nokia 6265 with almost all the same features in it but its a mechanical slider type model and costs you around Rs.16000/- but due the sensitive connecting strip which you need to replace once in a year atlest no matter how delicately you use I would not rate it higher than Nokia 6275. Its got brilliant features which i was looking for. Thanks -Hussain

I need your help. I'm a newbie to this forum. I posted thread in Nokia forum aksing for help to choose for my new Handset among huge variety availabe. Some of the guys suggested me to go for HTC 6800. My brother is there in US I want to request him for one HTC 6800. Please let me know if it has got RUiM Card slot so that i can conveniently start using it by inserting my RUiM card or it needs to be programed to put my number on it? Moreover how can we use its internet services which we call "GPRS" in GSM phones. Can we configure internet easily on it? Looking forward to your reply. Thanks Hussain.

Hi all, I've decided to go for new Nokia and my budget is around 12K - 13K. I'm inclined towards Nokia 6265 but I was told that mechanical slider type and flap type models has not proved great durability as of yet. Is it true? Which Handset should i go for?
