Recharge for Rs.38/- in R-GSM is offering local reliance to reliance calls unlimited for 30 days. Circle - Hyderabad, TS Already started using it. Looks tempting but no improvement in reception.

I have one from USA. It is an unlocked device. mine is not a contract phone. It doesn't have CDMA, One slot is for WCDMA (NOT CDMA) and another one is for GSM.

PC Suit like software could have made this job easier for Electify2 owners. Me too struggling with Contacts part. Couldn't transfer my contacts from HTC Inc2 to this phone.

@M. S. Rao: Good information about RC 78 As far as I remember I have never seen R-GSM selling too cheap this way earlier. GSM operators can't compete with CDMA operators, everybody know this fact. How come its selling cheaper than CDMA? In CDMA still it is Rs.299/- for unlimited calling R-R local with 30 mins daily for offnet calls. There is no exclusive R-R unlimited package in CDMA as of now in prepaid. What is reliance cooking?

Did anybody use 3 way calling with Motorola Electrify2? Looks like it is not working. I tried couple of times. After connecting with second party when I tap on "merge" nothing happens still second party is online and can't hear the first party. Can't even switch back to first party.

I have been using Motorola Electrify 2 from quite a while still contacts not settled properly. I had migrated all my contacts from HTC inc2 via GMail. First off it showed big numbers like 356 contacts on my Moto list and so on but when ever a call is received there is no name on it where as the caller is not new to me. I started saving their names as and when the calls are received. I am continuing this process till now and even for the numbers that I saved with names they get lost after few days and again the same caller is displayed with number and no name. What is the logic behind it i am unable to get it. I appreciate if some body could get me out of this puzzle.

Motorola Electrify 2 doesn't let the installed apps to be moved to SD card. Please suggest any method to move apps or name some tried & tested apps from play store.

I have been using this handset for more than 20 days now still no issues. I am happy. Call quality is good, crystal clear voice and I believe Radios are strong (Wi-Fi, bluetooth and cell reception also) and I can't give the comparison feedback with Moto G as I have not used Moto G yet. Regarding games, etc I installed Deer hunter and after playing for some time it got too much heated up and restarted automatically. I believe it is made on light hardware. This handset would naturally be a good replacement (with MEiD registrations being stopped) but you can't keep lots of hopes with it, as the price is so the handset is. Over all, In my opinion it is a good handset for light use and it is worth the price 8K (in India) or $99 on e-bay as earlier mentioned by somebody. when it comes to features and ease of use I always compare it with my HTC Droid Inc2 and doesn't find it that much convenient and user friendly though it was running on Ginger Bread i still miss lots features in Electrify 2 at the same time I enjoy some excellent features which work really beyond expectations Viz. "Smart Actions"

Can any Electrify 2 user clarify if this handset has the capability of handling Voice + Data simultaneously on CDMA (EvDo) as OMH device?

One of my Motorola Electrify 2 is working only on 1X (some times 3G on and off) while the other one is performing to the fullest on EvDO (3G) both are on OMH RUiM. I have entered the same APN settings on both but the first one doesn't get EvDo on it. I changed the OMH SiM thinking that it was because of Old SiM (though old one was also OMH) but no use it is the same again. Later I realized that the one which is working on EvDO has micro SiM in it ( used along with adapter) and the one which doesn't give EvDo has mini SiM which I bought / changed today. I insisted WW guy to give me micro SiM as one of my handset on micro sim works fine, he says "even this mini sim is OMH and has no difference other than Size which shouldn't matter" Experts please suggest. Is there really no difference between mini and micro sim when it comes to technology? Or should I change the mini to micro again as a last resort to make it work?

As long as it is up and running it is fine but once if is switched off (due to battery outage) or if I voluntarily restart the phone for some reason then it keeps restarting continuously, some times for the whole day it keeps restarting, firstly it sticks on Verizon Logo for 2 to 3 mins then slowly icons will appear after that it will take a restart, this process is looped infinitely. Do you think Flashing the ROM again will solve this issue?

Presently my HTC Droid inc2 is running on Verizon ROM, non SiM based and programmed for Reliance CDMA. It is lagging a lot and I want to restore factory setting or flash the same Verizon ROM again. Does it need to be programmed again after factory restore of flashing the ROM? Experts, Please help with your knowledge.

Hi Sameer, You mentioned "after recharging hsd pack...." in your post. In reliance cdm a do we have different data packs for 3g/HSD/EVDO? i believe once the evdo is activated on your number whatever the data pack you have in your account will work on hsd. to the best of my knowledge, reliance cdma does not have different data packs for hsd like we have in other gsm services. I need your help friends. I tried flashing another ROM on my Droidin2 which was running a custom ROM finely. Now I lost 1xRTT Data connection inspite of providing right values under APNs it doesn't work. Currently it is running Android Version 2.3.4 HTC Sense Version 2.1 ROM Version 3.06.1401.0 Can anybody please point to a good and working ICS or even Ginger Bread custon ROM or Verizon Original ROM for me, please. Tried old links but looks like they have been removed. PS: On top of Unlock Bar it displays "No service" but still signal bar is full and voice calls working fine.

My HTC Inc2 is already running Android Version 2.3.4 and ROM Version 3.06.1401.0 with Chinese ROM. Does that mean my device has already S-OFF? I want to update it with ICS. Hi There, Please let me know if any releases from Nokia is in market now. I'm thinking of changing my Nokia 6275 mostly looking with QERTY key board. I am inclined towards Nokia C3. I don't know if it has been launched in CDMA too.

Chinese apps won't bother me but i'm unable to go to market for apps. Tried downloading manually the play store apk and installed successfully too. When accessed it says "Your must add an account to the device to continue. Do you want to add one now?" Though i tapped "yes" it does nothing. Can anybody help me, please? PS: My Gmail account is already configured on my mobile for e-mail.
