I know this is an OLD topic, but I've tried this onthe 6900, and I get errors reading filesystem including NVM: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12:02:12.358 LG-VX4400: Listing files in dir: 'nvm' 12:02:12.375 LG-VX4400: Failed to list files in dir nvm 12:02:12.375 LG-VX4400: Listing subdirs in dir: 'nvm' 12:02:12.390 LG-VX4400: Failed to list dir nvm 12:02:14.842 LG-VX4400: Listing files in dir: 'sfs' 12:02:14.858 LG-VX4400: Failed to list files in dir sfs 12:02:14.858 LG-VX4400: Listing subdirs in dir: 'sfs' 12:02:14.875 LG-VX4400: Failed to list dir sfs 12:02:15.655 LG-VX4400: Listing files in dir: 'sms' 12:02:15.703 LG-VX4400: Listing subdirs in dir: 'sms' etc... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also tried newer version of Bitpim, and even tried using Qualcomm USB Modem... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12:03:27.140 COM5: Opening port COM5, 115200 baud, timeout 3.000000, hardwareflow 0, softwareflow 0 12:03:27.187 COM5: Open of comm port suceeded 12:03:27.187 LG-VX4400: Attempting to contact phone 12:03:27.187 LG-VX4400: Listing subdirs in dir: '' 12:03:30.203 COM5: Timed out - flushing and trying again 12:03:33.217 COM5: Timed out waiting for 7e, requested bytes 1 - 0 bytes read 12:03:33.265 COM5: Changed port speed to 38400 12:03:36.780 COM5: Timed out - flushing and trying again 12:03:39.796 COM5: Timed out waiting for 7e, requested bytes 1 - 0 bytes read 12:03:39.828 COM5: Changed port speed to 115200 12:03:43.342 COM5: Timed out - flushing and trying again 12:03:46.358 COM5: Timed out waiting for 7e, requested bytes 1 - 0 bytes read ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- any suggestions as to how one reads NVM filesystem on 6900? QXDM? QPST? - I have both (QXDM 3.09.19) (QPST 2.7) CDMA Workshop doesn't really work either... I tried so many times to configure my 6700 to work with metro.\, all I am getting is welcome to american roaming network. I try to use this method but bitpim will not detect my phone or let me get the nvm file. It detects mt phone as a modem and not a serial and HTC instead of quialcommm. Can someone please help me. Thanks.
