I was able to browse opera mini on handset but since last night I am not able to browse,when I changed my setting to HTTP from Socket I got a message saying content blocked by operator,anybody in Mumbai having same problem ?

Here in Mumbai you can see banners saying "Reliance Gsm Sim Card Free with Rs.900 talk time",all shop keepers have this banner all reliance mobile outlets have this banner,all the shopkeepers and reliance outlests are collecting documents, some are taking signatures on forms some are just collecting documents and photo. Documents are collected in 1000s and sims are distubuted in 10s.In short Reliance Mobile is just creating demand and because of this sales of other operators new connection has been affected. Cheap publicity Reliance is fooling itself,because people are giving 2 or 3 sets of documents if they get 3 sims they can use free talktime of Rs.30 per day and that too for 90 days,and after 90 days they will either stay on any one number or just throw away the sims.

@kumaarshah U seem to be the only person here who is approving the charge of 99/199 and apart from that you are advocating RCOM,but you seem to forget that many RCOM seniors are visitors of this forum(or maybe members or part of the team) and they take ideas from here,remember when we started this thread they stopped the kb price but now we are giving them a picture that its ok if we are charged 99/199 infact we are willing to pay but please reduce the Mb's given to us for this amount. I always used to read and appreciate your posts on this forum but here i disagree with you totally.Maybe you feel secured because you are a dapo user and expect some waiver like it has been always,or maybe you are comfortable with the price according to your usage or in comparison with other operators,but i would want to protest with the current price in comparison to the one i was previously paying.If i keep quiet and use thier services they may tomorrow burden me with other charges also,so its better i keep away. Lets have a poll and see how many people agree with the new data charges

Nothing was given free by RCOM, and its not the matter of paying 99/199 today if i shift to any other operator and go for their data plan i will have to pay for it,the problem with RCOM would be in their billing,who is going to fight for the data charges they put on their own and being with RCOM for 5+ years they should have the courtesy to inform their customers before hand and not disconnect the access and let the customer find out the reason from rimweb. They had given us plans which was changed without giving any notice or option whats the guarantee that the current plan also would stay and not change overnight like this one. There are still plans where customers shell out old call rates, why is RCOM not reducing those rates if change is what they want,i am still paying Rs.1.20 for a local call more then what a prepaid user pays and if i go to change my plan i will have to pay more as advance rental etc etc. Rcom is acting like Congress party,take whatever decision and people will follow it,in short forcing things. Either way,all this has happened because of some people downloading movies/heavy data round the clock and rcom went into a calculative mode thinking that those are all genuine usages they will be in for a surprise when they would find their projection of income from internet access to be only 10%. With Rcom I would only want to go for any unlimited plan even if they charge me a bit high rather being taken for a ride with their kb billing.

I mean 2 ask did u try inserting sim of other network like vodafone,bpl or airtel i m of the view that we can get such data card in the grey market for less, anyone tried it? @coolboyashok.....is there any chance 2 get the netsetter belove mrp?
