  1. hi,

Is there any software which read cdma mobile's internal memory data on PC. I need a software that can work with Samsung MAX or Samsung M569. My purpose is to download the recorded voice conversation from mobile to PC. But the software provided with handset does not shows the recorded conversation files when i use it on PC.

Please help, as the intenal memory limits the amount of data that can be stored on mobile phone, i need to transfer the file to Pc, so that i can have room for recording more conversations.

I searched google to find such software but it didn't help.

Now i am relying on you RIMweb'ians.

    Thnks in advance.

  2. Hi,

like we all listen & talk with wired headsets by plugging them into handset, Is not there any way by which we can use a bluetooth headset with a non-bluetooth mobile. We can have some bluetooth adapters which can be inserted in the headphone scoket to pair with the bluetooth handset? and yes, it is only viable if the adapter is cheaper than a bluetooth enabled handset.

Is it possible? I am just curious to know since you all are guru, and who better than you can answer this.

  3. ^^^^

I think, even on mogul u wud require a laptop to change the es*; not possible only with phone itself on the go...

yes i intend to do it with a laptop indeed. but why do i need programming skills, is it not true that some fixed set of commands would be needed to change the number every time. and if you guys are there then why do i need to go into programming :)

by the way what is the procedure to change the number on treo 755p.

  4. Hi,

can we use all features of BB 8130 without using the BB services.

I mean can i use sms, mms, interent browsing, video recording, music etc with an normal reliance cdma connection.

What are the limitations if not using BB services??

    few other queries:

    1) Does it have conversation(call) recording?

    2) Can i lock message.

    3) Does it support Java application?

please respond urgently, as saddik bhai offering this set at rs. 9500, i am willing to buy it if meets above criteria.

  5. I been using Samsung M569 for a couple of week now, the features are good. I got the mobile from Reliance web outlet for Rs.10000/-

The main thing i look for is the sms capacity and voice clarity and this set has both these features and are quite good.

The sms limit is 500 in phone memory and 5 in card memory , I cant understand this lol, i am using the 4gb limit card and still its 5 sms limit.

Anyways, we get the good with the bad, the negative feature in samsung is that we cant set the phonebook menu as per our liking.

But anyways, the set is quite good.

    hi,

I can u please tell that if call recording is available with set. or their is any voice memo, or can we access voice recorder during call? i was waiting for someone to tell me these things. also is inbox or message locking facility is there in this set?

    Please responds.........waiting eagerly

  6. Am looking for a CDMA handset (under Rs. 9K) to use with my Reliance connection. I had an RD 6500 with very good features but it was snatched from me on the roads of Ahmedabad. Am very particular about phone and organiser functions andusability and less about radio/camera/video.

Can people tell me about the 6600 -

    - In the phonebook, how many numbers can I store under each name? (8 for LG6500: 2 home, 2 office, 2 mobile, 1 fax, 1 general) 1 home ,1 mobile, 1 office, 2 email, 1 web addr, 1 home addr, 1 fax, 1 extra no

    - Can I search the Phonebook (Contacts list) by number as well as by name? both

    - Can I send/receive (by sms) numbers from the phonebook to/from others? yes

    - From the Phonebook, can I send an sms? yes

    - From the call register, can I navigate back to Contacts to maybe call back the caller on another number in his name? yes

    - From the call register, can I send the caller an sms? yes

    - From the sms register, can I call the sms sender on the same number? yes

    - From the sms register, can I navigate back to Contacts to maybe call back the sms-sender on another number in his name? No

    - Can I send sms to multiple people simultaneously (without defining group)? yes

    - Can I define gropus to send sms to? How many such groups can I define? yes , 10 groups

    - In each group how many numbers can there be, max? dont' know

    - In LG 6500 there was a big problem with gropu sms - you could send group sms only to those for whom only Home number was filled. Quite idiotic. Is there any such limitation with MAX?

    - Does it handle long messages by breaking into small messages? yes

    - Can I copy/paste between messages? yes

    - Can I download the Reminders/Birthdays/Appointments/etc.?

    - Can I download SMSes into my PC?

    - Can I schedule reminders as daily/weekly/mothly/yearly? yes

    - Can I download scheduler/calendar/reminder into PC?

    - Does the phone have a feature to give a periodic tinkle at intervals to draw attention to unread sms's? Or does it tinkle just when an sms comes in? yes

Sorry for the long list, but I do want to buy the phone having the conveniences I need. The answers to all the above questions (except Send/Receive phonebook nos. and download) were Yes for 6500, by the way, so I do want at least these functions and more in the new phone I buy.

If any other phone also provides all these features, do let me know.

    Ranjit

  7. I assume that it is about postpaid mobile not fwp.

It is available in postpaid connection. With rental plan 995, you can make unlimited calls to reliance CDMA & GSM numbers. please visit the reliance website.

Also if you are postapaid user, subscribe to different rental plans and see if they are offering to cdma & gsm. you will bebilled for (rental plan amount /30) * (no. of days used). so don't woory. Also you can change the plan as many times as you want(even in a single month).

Earlier i had used 399 rental plan which offered 40 paise per min to both CDMA & GSM Reliance. but it was not mentioned anywhere that it will be applicable to GSM also.
