I am a big nokia fan , most importantly bcuz their battery backup is good and even the no frill phones are sturdy. But I was really disappointed when I found out that there are no Nokia CDMA handsets in the market. Is this limited to my city (Patna) or applies to everywhere? If you have seen Nokia handsets , please post which ones, where and the price? thanks..

In my opinion if you need r world by any chance stay away from rd-6000. otherwise it seems like a good phone, but 6130 is highly recommended. moreover I am looking for a new Rd-7230 if it is available somewhere in any city. Would be glad if you could help!

SURPRISE Chirag , BY GOD's grace, is the free thing really working for you. I mean are u really able to receive mms from email addresses like yahoo, rediff now(please do check it right now cause it was of course working previously and is not working as of now). If yes please share, I'm sure all ppl in this thread would love to know how u are able to recieve mms. Is this simply because of the software upgrade or do we need to do something else. please elaborate. all will be thankful!!

Although this topic is very old I also want a 7230 and yet again it nowhere available in bangalore. I would prefer a new phone even if it means buying it from somewhere else. Can somene suggest a shop anywhere where it is avaialable( i have contacts in pune, patna, delhi, jaipur, surat and of course bangalore so any city will do.)

Well I haven't updated my software version to 15 but the BIG QUESTION IS will that be of any use?? If it is working for u then pls post chirag, i mean if it is working from yahoo and not from the site where we might be getting charged. Moreover if reliance can promise something on their website how the hell can they simply discontinue it. Moreover it was working perfectly not too long back, in fact i had got it working till the 5th of april

i have been facing the problem since april 7 th(bought the phone on 1st april and the mms facility worked for me for 2 days.) i had posted in another thread but now it seems like everyone else too is facing the same problem. also the web based mms works but i'm sure it is charged and it s**ks!!. any solutions plllllleeeeeeassee. PS:I have a rd6000 so it is definetly not a problem with the handset

although i am not buying it i already have one but to tell you the truth it is one of the best phones in reliance. + points being r world works perfectly and the r connect speed is the best. so look through the forum and i bet u will find many takers, in fact u can get a very decent price.

Another question. Does someone know what is the latest version for brew and other settings for rd -6000.

worked for me as well ... I hope u guys have first registered at my rim if not maybe it works only with new registrations.(guessing) . Still I pray if anyone can find a solution to my problem. I am able to send mms to myself from the site but i am afraid that i am being charged (mail from yahoo to yourself is free) but now any mail from yahoo to my address is not being shown(actually it gets lost i do not get any intimation and it is not even shown on the site.) Mind you first my problem happened and then I found this link while searching for the solution so the problem is not having origin in site.

hi everyone I have a new lg rd6000 with a new connection. I was able to receive mms till a few days from yahoo the 91+phoneno@mms.ricmail.com way and the photographs looked amazing. But now I am no longer able to do so. I guess this is a native problem that once we get a new number we keep getting mms till we get some mms which cannot be retrieved(it gave an error on my set when I had receieved a 100 kb attachment which I had sent to myself.) and then the inbox becomes full and no mms can be received.[iT IS ALL GUESSWORK MIND YA]. I do not get any notification of any mms. The mms is also not shown on the web based mms checkup facility. There is no mms option in r world(it's obvious in rd6000). I know many have faced the same problem before me but I want to know if anyone has found a solution??? I have a partial solution by the way. I am able to send mms from the web based mms facility. PS: For those u who do not know the web based mms facility can be found at http://bill.relianceinfo.com/webapp/portal/servlet/MMSLogin and the username and password is the same as myrim phone no. and my rim password
