  4. MNP Experience

    I have sent mail on 17th feb to Dot and Trai copies to Relinace cc,nodal officer, appellite authority and aircel CC, nodal officer and appellite authority. I have recieved reply from Rcom mentioning that operator has rejected my request and reply from Aircel mentioning that they didnot recieved any mnp request. I have send all the copies again on 19th feb to Trai, Dot and all mails id of operators but till now no reply from operators. From Trai there is no reply for previous mails and second mail also Recieved call from nodal officers of Rcom and Aircel on 23rd of Feb Aircel nodal officer asked me wether i want to portout , I said yes .He has told he will coordiate with nodal officer of Rcom if they can activate on their network.After taking confirmatory mail from Rcom , he deactivated completley on 24th evening Rcom nodal officer called me again on 24th and 25th and confirmed every thing is clear they activate incoming also on their network(outgoing is already active). From then to till now i am follwoing up with Rcom nodal officer and other people MNP dept.There is no progress.They are saying there is no problem, but no incoming. on 3rd march again I sent mail to all including Trai and dot . Nobody responded. only got mail from DOT saying " kindly lodge your complain on www.pgportal.gov.in. Yesterday logded complain on www.pgportal.gov.in to DOT .Showing status as greivance recieved. Waiting something to happen There is no incoming on my number from 24th feb to till now Finall incoming is activated yesterday After loDging complain on www.pgportal.gov.in also there is no effect. I was talking to Aircel nodal officer and Reliance nodal officer daily. FINALLY MY NUMBER GOT INCOMING ACTIVATED YESTERDAY AFTER 48 DAYS
  5. I ported my primes RCDMA number to BSNL Applied with all documents on 2nd march Porting completed on 7th march night without any problem It took 5days

    There is no progress till now.one month completed Aircell is active with incoming and outgoing RGSM is active with only outgoing( Recharge is also working.I recharged with Rs.10) Now want to apply MNP again with other operator.Will there be any problem.
  10. Yes BSNL has stopped giving free sim, Rs.100 free talktime and 5gb gprs. nothing free to customer. It seems BSNL wants to maintain No.1 position losing customers due to MNP and last in aquiring new customers

    My MNP (Non ending) story Porting from Aircel Postpaid to RGSM prepaid 19-Jan bill generated 21 Jan -Paid complete bill amount 22 Jan – Generated UPC code and applied for MNP at retail outlet 28 Jan – Receive call from Rcom stating they have received MNP request and process will be completed in 1 or 2 days 1 Feb – Nothing happened .Visited retail outlet where applied for mnp.Person has told there was error processing mnp request taken the details and sent once again . Also spoke to reliance guy who has ensure will be done at the earliest. 6 Feb – UPC Code expired .same reliance guy whom I spoke asked me to send new UPC code. Again sent new UPC code. 7 Feb – New RGSM sim activated with base tariff and without any offer only with outgoing calls to all networks no incoming. Aircel sim active completely. 9 feb - On RGSM received 20Rs balance with 1p/2s and gprs offer with only outgoing and no incoming. Aircel still active without any effect. Received SMS from RM MNP – “Dear customer, we have received your request to enroll mobile no.97xxxxxx in Reliance network.It will be processed shortly.Reliance “ Till today I was folloing up with reliance and Aircel 15 Feb – Reliance guy inform me that Aircel has rejected my MNP request and asked me to contact Aircel .He was not having any reason . Called Aircel on 198 and asked for the reason for rejection the CC told they did not get any request for port out from reliance or mnp department When contacted reliance they are telling if aircel rejects port out they cannot do any thing and Aircel guys are telling they did not get any portout request , how can they reject. Now after 23 days of wait not knowing who is the culprit. Again new bill is going to get generated on 18th feb and I have to pay bill and UPC code will expire on 20 feb. Friends please help me how should I proceed further.

" Dear customer welcome to Bsnl network.Please await for further instrucions" No further communication for Aircel to RGSM convertion still porting pending Yesterday 11.pm Uninor sim deactivated and in with 30 mins BSNL SIM activated working without problem (26jan - 1st feb >>> 7 days incl holidays Till now no response for Aircel to RGSM conversion ---22nd jan >>11th day till counting on 1st feb 8pm called Aircel CC asked for portout status of my number they have informed they did not recieve portout request from RGSM Again called RCom CC and enquired why port in has not completed even after 11 days.CC told they have recieved request on 22nd jan but CAF has not been entered it will be done soon. On 2nd feb visited Reliance webworld enquired the status .web world people told they will not have any status. Immediately rushed to the retails outlet where submitted for MNP .On seeing me the lady who has taken CAF form and mnp form told me that they have entered the mobile no wrongly and so it is pending with reliance(or main distributor dont know exactly).Immediately she has taken the correct mobile no. and sent to the reliance(or distibutor dont know exactly) Lady has told it will be done in 4 days It was actually the fault of the retailer and I was blaming Rcom all these days for delay waiting for MNP complete
  13. Thats fast service by BSNL... do we need to recharge to activate BSNL or need to call 123 or something like that? please explain if any... I have paid Rs. 29(FRC) only nothing else.for snestham plan and received nestham plan with 2200sms, 100Rs talktime, 50mins national calls and 5gb gprs. Once inserted bsnl sim it detected the network immediately and was ready for outgoing and incoming calls and sms also working fine on all networks. Did not dial any thing like 123 for activation.
  14. yesterday night uninor sim is deactivated and showing invalid sim. bsnl sim is not activated till now. BSNL is telling it will be activated till tomorrow. i have activated successfully from uninor to BSNL. it was activated today and done FRC 42 and got Rs. 115 main balance and 5Gb Gprs for 1 month. call charges @1p/sec all calls.no incoming or outgoing problem. BSNL is improving the services also the CSC persons behaving like friend. i think it is due to MNP. For gprs offer, did you activate by sending message or it was activated automatically after migration ? . I have migrated from uninor to bsnl got 100rs talktime, 50 free calls and 2200sms. supposed to get 5gb gprs , but data is not working.called CC he told for gprs activation need to send SMS for gprs activation

    Seems there is no cap on pricing of channels.Same channel charged differently by different operators.some channels are costing Rs. 40 and Rs. 50 .Trai should interevene and fix upper cap of Rs. 5 to Rs.8. only it will be beneficial to consumers
  18. No CDMA operator is giving 2gb for Rs. 95-98 .it is gprs MTNL is giving Rs. 75 for unlimited CDMA 1X data .others are charging Rs. 550-750 that too limited data
  19. MNP of Post paid to prepaid will take 1 or 2 days more than prepaid to prepaid migration
  20. 1.I have submitted docs for porting Aircel postpaid to RGSM on 22Jan 8pm with retailer. Recieved call today afternoon from Reliance for confirmation and told porting will be completed today. 2.Submitted document for porting uninor to BSNL on 26th jan with BSNL office.waiting for response

    1. I am changing my Aircel postpaid to RGSM prepaid because of bad network.already submitted forms.kept complianing for 6 months but no improvement. 2.Sent MNP SMS from old RCDMA prepaid .Recieved call from CC and asked reason for porting.I told them data plans are costly.CC didnot reply to that. 3.Send MNP SMS from RGSM. Recieved call from CC and asked reason for porting.I told them network fluctuation.CC promised network issue will be solved in 48 hours not to switch.
