Actually i wanted to shift to GSM for better handsets.Now i am having second thought wether to shift or continue in CDMA. I have noticed that talking for long duration is convinient only on CDMA. On GSM it is very difficult to talk for more than 30 minutes.

I have mixed experience with BSNL. Positives -Service wise I never faced any major problem.In 7 months only 2 break downs due to road construction which was restored with in a day. - Connection was given by line man within 2 days of deposit. -Engineer visited and completed installation on 3rd day and every thing was good -once i faced disturbance in phone calls.Line man visited personally within one day and solved the problem same day. -I recieve call often in a month or one and half month from bsnl about verifiying the service if any problems. Negatives ; :'( -1500 swagatham never worked in 7 months ,gave complain several times but no use. -I recieved bill for the first month and no bills for 6 months till now.I view bills online and pay online.But BSNL CC doesnot know about online system. -about non receipt of bills they say bill will be dispatched from main branch they cannot do any thing.They customer should visit postoffices and ask there. My observation BSNL is mixture of young professionals who might have joined recent years and trying to bring some profesionalism on par with other telcos. But there are some age old ideots who doesnt want to change and behave babu s way and resisting the change

You can visit and enquire at bsnl office with higher officials as lower CC may not have information.Tell them your area and they will provide definitely if available in your area

After jan 31st again it increases tariff. add on packs should be long lasting so that high users will get benefitted.No body will be interested if offers are only for short period. Actuall i want to make my docomo no as primary number looking at 49 juice up pack.but pack is not available after jan, so i took back my decision. Tata docomo should give long term commitments atleast for 1 year

I am facing strange problem with Tata docomo sim in Hyderabad.I am using Nokia 1650 phone ,it is getting hung very frequently. if you operate phone, any features with docomo sim, it getting hanged in 3-5 mins.But when i am using same phone with IDEA or RGSM SIM ,phone is working without any problem.I checked with my friend , he is using karbon dual sim ,faced same prblem with docomo sim .He tried in Nokia phone same problem, now he threw away the docomo sim. I checked with local retailers, they have told it is true docomo has network/ server problem.But Docomo CC is not accepting or taking complaint.On executive has told docomo is using latest technology so old phones will not support, Then i asked him how RGSM is working with same latest technology, he has no answer. Any one facing same problem in other circles. please share how to solve this problem.because docomo is my second important number.

You are right problem is not with the only sim. because many people are facing the same problem I have taken the sim during initial period of launch, So I think those sims should be having problem But same sim is giving problem in some handsets but working in some handsets

Dear friends I am planning to buy a new phone with Wi fi I have few questions on wi fi.can some experts clarify ? 1.If my phone has wi fi then can I access Internet on phone from my PC(PC has wireless lan and I am using broadband on pc) ? 2.Can I access phone from PC using wi fi ?(similar to bluetooth or cable) 3.What are the other benefits of wifi on phone ? 4.Is Wifi and wireless lAN same ? 5.IS Modem with wi fi and wireless router same ? if different how? Can you share some more info pls BSNL has four types of modems( i think 2 are wired and 2 are wirelss and charging 1000rs and 1600rs) info available on website. 1.Can you please tell me difference in above modems ? 2.if i purchase from bsnl above wireless modem and later if change service from bsnl to other service providers , can i use same modem if yes does all operators support the modem 3.Can you please mention two or few good brand wi fi router models with price . I fully agree with above I have used Nokia, LG, spice, karbonn and have experience of service and phone usage.Quality is atleast now better than nokia. SPice and LG repairs phone in 1 to 3 hours max and replaces if required within 2-5 days Whereas nokia takes 1-12 months for repairs ( mostly it will say not repairable after keeping phone for months) For replacement you have to go for consumer courts

well very sorry, I dont agree with above I have used Nokia, LG, Spice, Karbonn In service LG is best , spice is good, dont know karbonn but Nokia is worst In quality LG is better than nokia and karbonn and spice is also better than nokia. Nokia is very old and eshtablished brand with high penetration in remote place so naturally it has created brand value. But people now started using other brands now situation changes slowly

In my house Idea, Docomo and Reliance netoworks available. No airtel signals. .But airtel boasts it has No.1 Network ,all false claims Surprisingly nearest tower to my house is Airtel

Dear friends I have noticed on Reliance website- Rworld-infotainment-full tariff(rightside) Special tariff showing for news channels Reliance mobi TV Rs. 10/- for 1 channel per day, Rs. 35/- for 5 channels per month, Rs. 60/- for 10 channels per month But when called CC couple of times, They have no information .Has any one checked this tarriff. Earlier tariff was Rs.15 for 5minutes for viewing any channel with the above packages I think it is very much affordable to watch TV channels on move. But dont know how to activate.Can some one in other circles check this HAs anyone seen the tariff

Dear friends Its been 9 months since court has ordered nokia to replace with new box.But till now there is no response from nokia.After 45 day I filed EA petition using a advocate again.Consumer forum is postponing the case with 20 days .Every time I have to attend the court spending time and money. Problem is nokia is not even accepting the court notice .There is no reply or acknowledgement from postal department ( notice recieved or not accepting).They are managing the post man also this is what my advocate is telling and he says Nokia do alway like this . And we know know our judicial sysem is totally useless.They cannot do any thing unless it recieves acknowledgement.They cannot take action on nokia or postal department for not returning acknowledgement in time. FRIENDS THIS IS VERY SERIOUR PROBLEM. Despite consumer forums order nokia is not obeying the order.Nokia is not respecting India judicial system.When it cannot respect the people , country and its judicial system, IT HAS NO RIGHT TO DO BUSINESS IN THIS COUNTRY. IF THIS CONTINUES , ALL MNC COMPANIES DO THE SAME WAY.THEN NO BODY BELIEVES IN CONSUMER FORUMS.ALL CONSUMER RIGHTS ARE USLESS. FRIENDS WE NEED TO SOMETHING IN THIS REGARD .PLEASE ADVICE ON THIS.We should not tolerate this anymore Dear friends At last my nokia 6275 case is over. Nokia did not replace the handset because right now they are not manufacturing and no stock with them . But it has given the cheque for Rs 11,750/- but without interest. I planned to sell the handset immediately on rimeb forum in case they replaces with new box .Now straight away I got the amount without selling. But I have original BL 6C battery used only for 6months which I have to sell it now. But over all it is a huge loss for me fighting the case.My total investment is more than nearly Rs.30000/ but I received only Rs.13,750( 11750 + 2000 expenses) My suggestion to the people who want to go to consumer forum 1.Never go to the consumer forum for low value products like less than Rs.10000 or 20k.It will be waste of time and money( your expenses) 2.Take the commitment from the advocate that he will fight the case without you visiting every time( you can visit only if required will be 5-7 times max ) 3.If you have a known advocate ( who is like your friend) you can file for any low value. 4.If you are a business man and travel mostly then go the court only for products value is in lacs.
