Hi Tej kumar I think spice has given good response and easily agreed to replace the phone.Were it nokia they will make you drain your energy and money in waiting and making multiple visits to service centre but never agree to replace the set. BTW Did you get your phone replaced with new phone now .how is it working ?

Too little too late, i am already on the simple postpaid and prepaid plan on the 2 connections i have ,and its awesome ... was planning to do for docomo for prepaid, but once i saw their network performance, i gave up and went for good old trusted reliance better but only next to Reliance , Tata docomo, Aircel and Idea. stands last in the race

A1 lephone is noway better than A3 Le phone, there is no major difference except looks .User interface is very bad A1 has VGA (or 1.3mp not remembered exactly) camera and with 800mah battery.with 3sims working simultaneously I dont think it gives more than 45mins talktime and standby time of 6-9hours. But battery model is BL 5c of nokia.using nokia original BL 5C battery might give 1.5hrs of talk time

Voda should provide 1s/1p for lifetime not just 1 year. This should also be uniform across the country

In AP Aircel has lauched 1paise per 2seconds to any mobile starter pack 20Rs with 12Rs talk talktime with life time validity base tarriff 1ps/sec to all local and std* with life time validity with STV 45rs any mobile 1ps for 2seconds which comes to 30paise for 1 minute with 30 days validity which is cheaper than any operator till date

in stv 45, 1p/2s is for local aircel numbers or applicable to all local numbers 1paise for 2seconds applicable to any local mobile of any network including aircel with 45rs STV for 30days Till now no operator is providng 30 paise with one second pulse in prepaid .Really this is great value for money

Dear Genius, I m planning to buy Spice D6666, right now I am using Nokia 6275 on Tata Indicom network and it's working perfectly. But want to buy one dual sim phone which should have almost same features as Nokia 6275. As you are a spice d6666 user, pls. suggest me should I buy this one or any other recommendations? Dear friends Its been 9 months since court has ordered nokia to replace with new box.But till now there is no response from nokia.After 45 day I filed EA petition using a advocate again.Consumer forum is postponing the case with 20 days .Every time I have to attend the court spending time and money. Problem is nokia is not even accepting the court notice .There is no reply or acknowledgement from postal department ( notice recieved or not accepting).They are managing the post man also this is what my advocate is telling and he says Nokia do alway like this . And we know know our judicial sysem is totally useless.They cannot do any thing unless it recieves acknowledgement.They cannot take action on nokia or postal department for not returning acknowledgement in time. FRIENDS THIS IS VERY SERIOUR PROBLEM. Despite consumer forums order nokia is not obeying the order.Nokia is not respecting India judicial system.When it cannot respect the people , country and its judicial system, IT HAS NO RIGHT TO DO BUSINESS IN THIS COUNTRY. IF THIS CONTINUES , ALL MNC COMPANIES DO THE SAME WAY.THEN NO BODY BELIEVES IN CONSUMER FORUMS.ALL CONSUMER RIGHTS ARE USLESS. FRIENDS WE NEED TO SOMETHING IN THIS REGARD .PLEASE ADVICE ON THIS.We should not tolerate this anymore

For GSM-GSM you can go for karbonn 770 with 3mp camera with flash, FM recording, Call recording, Java , EDGE and other excellent feature with decent battery and Yamaha Audio chip/speaker( please check) price -Rs.5700 I have used it for 1 week .really very nice.you see review on www.mymobile.co.in also For CDMA-GSM you can go for Spice 6666 with good features also Fly DS 440 with 2mp cam, video out connectivity and EDGE etc But check battery back up before finalising Box has 2 batteries of 800mah capacity

What is new in this phone over previous models nothing .same old basic stuff useless

Ok. So D-6666 should also support tata indicom n/w on opera mini. @Genius, Can you please check to add tata indicom card in D-6666 and check if opera mini able to browse on tata n/w. (Do not insert any GSM card). This will be really helpful for me as well as other forum members interested in Spice D-6666. BTW the handset is still not available in Pune, MH. Does anybody know about its availability in Pune? Brother I was just clarifying that in dual sim WAP can be used on CDMA 1x. Unfortunately in spice D 6666.WAP can be used on GSM GPRS only, not on CDMA 1x. In D88n and D88Gold , Wap can be used using both CDMA 1x and GSM GPRS. This is FYI

Spice D88n and D88gold support wap/opera mini on CDMA and also on GSM GPRS.I have used it.

Mine also got replaced free of cost without producing warranty card of bill. LG service is the best among all.worst service is nokia's

friend my 6275 is lying with ASC since nov 2007. hard to believe.I filed case in consumer forum in feb 2008.Consumer forum ordered nokia to replace with new set in dec 2008.Till now nokia is not obeying courts order.Even after winning also I lost because our judial system is very weak. take wise decision.

Opera mini browser comes pre installed for faster browsing

It is not asking for lock code, the new sim you are trying to insert should have pin locked .use PIN for the SIM. check where you got that sim.
