The ‘Red Hot Special Fares’ are also available at Rs 499 and Rs 799, after the web based booking discount of Rs 50 is applied to all Red Hot Special Fares. SpiceJet will offer over 9,000 seats and all flights for these special fares. “In a price sensitive market like Ahmedabad, we can only win customer confidence by reducing prices without comprising on quality and reliability. We are confident that our low fares will create a new segment of air travellers. We promise to redefine the concept of value flying in India,” said Ajay Singh, director, Spice Jet. SpiceJet’s internet site enables the passengers to price shop, manage bookings and even select their seat in advance at the time of booking. As Internet direct distribution reduces the airlines costs, these savings will be passed along to its passengers in the form of a Rs 50 discount for every one-way flight booking made over the internet. On all SpiceJet flights, complimentary water and light snacks will be served to the customers. Well we have to keep our fingers crossed, but the concept is that the entire state of Mah, TN & Bengal will become a single circle..just like other states. For e.g. in the state of gujarat you can roam the entire state of Guj without any roaming rentals, the incoming is free & call any cell from a landline then it is a local call. These four metros were supposed to be the maximum revenue generators thats why they were demarcated in a different circle. Also all the services were rolled in these metros in the first phase, thats why they continued to be different circles till date. Just a day more to go for 25th...

Agreed in toto... anyways there are rumours that the handset prices are going to be slashed in a month or so.... These refurbished handsets are priced around 1500 bucks which is way too costly considering the fact that we know the "actual price of the handset"...

Malls, malls, malls every where.... Is India ready for such kind of over bombardment of malls?? I dunno.. But being a retail professional I feel that malls are essential but the societal infrastructure in not yet ready to support malls.. Does anybody know the Gurgaon story??? That place is literally infested with malls. At the last report, one of the many malls had already started to close down.. Just see my point: When was the last time you shopped? Which place did you bought it from? When was the last time you visited a mall? What did you do in the mall? What was the last item you had purchased from a mall?? I bet 90% of the people answering this question would say that they had visited the mall on a week-end, saw a movie in the multiplex, ate at the food court, brwsed the shop windows in the mall, but shopped from the place where they are used to shop since ages. I do not mean that malls are a waste, just the thing is that people are not yet ready to buy from store in malls. Ofcourse there are quite a many exceptions but they are far & few... So lets keep our fingers crossed & simply wait & watch...

Simply great going guys.... I have been on this forum for about a month...but tell you what, I have been kind of hooked to it... Most of my office colleagues who have the bad habit of peering over my shoulder onto the screen, just keep on wondering..."why is this guy browsing the same site again & again"...
