I recently got a XT907 phone with kitkat 4.4.2 preloaded. I got a standard OMH simcard from reliance web world and got it cut to micro sim size. The data was not working initially but started working after entering the APN details. Edit: Mobile hotspot is also working by using the default app.

I have recently transferred my postpaid Reliance CDMA number from nv based phone (epic 4g) to Ruim based phone (Motorola Razr M). I could transfer the number to a sim through a reliance web world over here in Bangalore. The data is still working on the old phone, I had requested CC for data deletion on the old phone twice and both time I got the message that the service request has been closed. Later on I wrote to appellate authority and got a call from them, they also took the request and got a message that the service request has been closed. But unfortunately the data is still active in the old phone, requesting rim gurus here to help me out.

For mumbai reliance server - the ping time is 800ms and the data speed is 130 kps upload and 125 kbps download.

I am getting good speeds with my evdo data card and my ping time is also around 150ms. Is there any problem in my handset or do I need to do some tweaks on the handset for better data speeds.

The mobile network type shows as CDMA - EvDo rev. A:6. The ping time is around 1000ms.

I am having a EPIC 4G with PA Rom, in Bangalore I used to get only 1x signals at most of the places and 3g at few places with good speeds. But from the last couple of days the signal is showing 3G with full antenna but the speed is only around 100 - 140 kbps. Is any one else facing the same problem and is there any solution for this. The data is working now, I flashed FC09 modem and then reflashed the file in http://forum.xda-dev...02&postcount=18. SMS and all other features is working fine, only problem I am facing is that the phone reboots about a couple of times a day.

Anyone able to get data on paranoid android 1.99 rom, If yes please help me. TIA.

Tried all methods mentioned by you, May not work on stock. I have tried different customs roms but finally I am back to stock rom see post #1350 for details. Thanks for the help.

@bilamib, My phone is rooted and is on stock FC09 rom. The file is copied to /data/ folder and the permissions changed as per your earlier post using root explorer, but sprint is displayed as the carrier name.

Negative, @billamib tried it but not working.

After trying our different customs roms, problems with apps force closing/hanging, battery not lasting longer, 3g problems and other minor problems. I am back to stock FC09 rooted, now there is no problem with any apps and also my battery lasts more than 24 hours and with good 3g connectivity.

Data/Internet connection not working on CM9 Beta 2. Last week I flashed from Clean GB to CM9 Beta 2 but observed that data was not working, Odin'ed back to stock FC09 to check, data was working fine. Later flashed to Clean GB and then to People's Rom and found that Data was working perfectly on both roms. Today I again flashed to CM9 Beta 2, but again data is not working. Can anyone please help me in restoring data on CM9 Beta 2, if not I will be forced to flash back to Clean GB/People's Rom.

If you are on a MTD based rom and if you want to get back to stock froyo which is on BML, as per my experience your only option is odin with repartion checked.

@shadow, my phone was only rooted with stock EI22 hence upgraded to El30. One major change observed is the battery life seems to be better.

Flashed back my rooted Epic 4G to Stock EC05, (ota) upgraded to EI22 and then again (ota) upgraded to EL03.
